Examination of the Usage of the Equipments Those Were Used by Science and Techology Teachers Who Are Working at State and Private Schools

Abstract

Bu araştırma, özel okullarda ve devlet okullarında görev yapan fen ve teknoloji dersi öğretmenlerinin eğitim araç-gereçlerinden yararlanma durumlarının belirlenerek incelenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini Van il merkezindeki devlet ve özel ilköğretim okullarındaki fen ve teknoloji dersine giren fen bilgisi öğretmenleri ile sınıf öğretmenleri oluşturmaktadır; Araştırmanın örneklemini ise Van il merkezinde bulunan 4 özel ilköğretim okulundaki 27 öğretmen ile Van il merkezinde bulunan 36 devlet okulundaki 310 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada betimsel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada kullanılan veriler, araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen ve uygulanan anketlerle toplanmıştır. Araştırmanın alt amaçları doğrultusunda çözümlenmesinde dağılımları betimlemek için frekans (f) ve yüzde (%)'den; bağımlı değişkenlerin bağımsız değişkenlerle olan ilişkisini ortaya koymak için ise non-parametrik testlerden olan Kay-Kare testi kullanılmıştır. İstatistiksel çözümlerde SPSS 10.0 paket programından yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen veriler bulgulara dönüştürülerek yorumlanmış ve ulaşılan sonuçlara bağlı olarak öneriler geliştirilmiştir.Araştırma sonucunda; öğretmenlerin derslerini işlerken eğitim araç-gereçlerini kullanma düzeylerinin okul türüne göre, bazı araç-gereçlerin kullanım düzeylerinin anlamlı düzeyde farklılaştığı ortaya konulmuştur.Anahtar kelimeler: Fen ve teknoloji eğitimi, Eğitim araç-gereçleriThe aim of this research is to determine and examine the equipments of Science and technology teachers who are working at private and state schools. The concept of this reserach includes Science-technology and class teachers in Van primary schools. Samples include 27 teachers at 4 private primary schools and 310 teachers at 36 state primary schools in the centre of Van. Descriptive scanning programme was used in this research. The datas which were used in this research were collected by the help of questionnaire which was developed by the researcher.To analyze the aims according to subgoals, for defining divisions, frequency (f) and percentage, to show the relations between dependent and independent variables chi square tests ? one the of non parametric test ? has been used. For statistical resolutions SSPS 10.0 programme has been used. The datas that are taken from the research had interpreted by transforming the findings and suggestions has been developed depending on the conclusions.As a result of this research, while the teachers are giving their lecture, the usage of these equipments and some tools can be different meaningfully according to the types of schools.Key words: Education of science and technology, Equipments for education
