Abstract
Bu çalışmada Yüzüncü Yıl Üniveristesi Tıp Fakültesi Hastanesi Psikiyatri Polikliniğine başvuran; 30 OKB si olan hasta ve rastgele seçilen 40 kişilik sağlılıklı kontrol grubunda örtük bellek performansı ve bilişsel süreçler değerlendirilmiştir. Her iki grup için; örtük bellek performansını değerlendiren Kelime Kökü Tamamlama Testi ve Sosyo-demografik bilgi formu uygulanmıştır. Hasta grubuna ise ilaveten, Y-BOCS, Boyutsal Y-BOCS, Obsesyonel İnanışlar Ölçeği, Düşünce Eylem Kaynaşması Ölçeği ve Üst Biliş Ölçeği uygulanmıştır.Yapılan değerlendirme neticesinde; OKB un şiddetini gösteren; Y-BOCS ve Boyutsal Y-BOCS puanlarındaki artış, Üst Biliş Ölçeği, Düşünce Eylem Kaynaşması Ölçeği ve Obsesyonel İnanışlar Ölçeği puanlarındaki artışla ilişkili bulunmuştur. Ayrıca obsesif kompulsif belirtilerin şiddetindeki artış bellek performansındaki düşüşle ilişkili bulunmuştur.Sonuç olarak: OKB un belirti şiddetindeki artışın bellek performansını olumsuz şekilde etkilediği ortaya konulmuştur. Ayrıca; OKBuklukta bilişsel çarpıtmaların hastalık belirtilerinin şiddetlenmesine katkıda bulunarak bellek performansında düşmeyle sonuçlanabileceği gözlenmiştir.Anahtar kelimeler: Obsesif-kompulsif bozukluk; Bellek performansı; Düşünce eylem kaynaşması; Obsesif bilişler; Üst Biliş
The study conducted on 30 patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), who were consecutively admitted to the psychiatry clinics at Yüzüncü Yıl University Medical Research Hospital, and 40 healthy controls in order to investigate differences in memory performance and cognitive process among OCD patients. The Word Root Complete Test and and a socio-demographic form were administered in both groups. Additionaly, the Yale-Brown Obsessive Compulsive Scale (Y-BOCS), Dimensional Yale-Brown Obsessive Compulsive Scale(DY-BOCS), Obsessive Beliefs Questionnaire (OBQ), Thought Action Fusion Scale (TAFS), and Meta-Cognition Questionnaire (MCQ) were administered in the patient group.Significant correlations of the Y-BOCS and DY-BOCS with scores of the Obsessive Beliefs Questionnaire (OBQ), Thought Action Fusion Scale (TAFS), and Meta-Cognition Questionnaire (MCQ) were found. Severity of obsessive-compulsive symptoms reversely contributed to the unique variance of memory performance. Thought-action fusion indirectly influenced on decrease in memory performance by increasing obsessive-compusive symptom severity. It is concluded that obsesive-compulsive symptom severity negatively influences on memory performance. Further, it was found that cognitive features pecular to OCD significantly impinge on decreasing in memory performance by contributing to severity of obsessive-compulsive symptoms. Keywords: Obsessive-compulsive disorder; Memory performance; Tought-action fusion; Obsessive beliefs; Meta-cognition
