Preparation of the Most Suitable Nutri̇ti̇on Solution for Pepper Seedling Growing
Abstract
This thesis study was carried out in three stages in the Horticulture Physiology laboratory of Van Yuzuncu Yil University in order to find the most suitable nutrient solution in pepper seedling cultivation. In the first stage of the experiment, the seeds of the Genetika F1 green pepper variety were sown in the peat-perlite mixture in the viols and watered with distilled water until the pepper seeds germinated. In the second stage, the germinated pepper seeds were applied by preparing seven different nutrient solutions with increasing doses of nutrients, the first application being the commercial fertilizer N-P-K. At the last stage, mature seedlings, plant parameters, color values, chlorophyll and photosynthesis values were statistically analyzed and calculated by duncan multiple comparison method. In order to determine that the mature seedlings are the best quality and mature seedlings, after the control application with NPK commercial fertilizer, nitrogen and Boron are kept constant according to the Hoagland nutrient solution and increasing doses of K, P, Mg, Ca, Fe, Mn, Cu and Zn nutrients are applied to the plants was bred. As a result of the analysis, the most appropriate nutrient solution grown in the 4th application and the nutrient doses N (186 ppm), P (40 ppm), K (190 ppm), Magnesium (79.28 ppm), Calcium (260 ppm), Iron (4, 5 ppm), Mn (0.061 ppm), B (0.205 ppm), Cu (0.025 ppm), Zn (0.040 ppm).
