128 oz Bu araştırmada, ülkemizde uygulanmış olan öğretmen atamalarına tarihsel bir çerçeve içinde bakılmış; Öğretmen atamaları bakımından ülkemizdeki durum ile gelişmiş olarak kabul edilen ülkeler karşılaştırmıştır. Buna ek olarak ülkemizde uygulanan öğretmen atama politikalarındaki sorunlar ve bu sorunlara ilişkin öğretmen görüşleri incelenmiştir. Araştırmadaki veriler, 2002 - 2003 öğretim yılında Siirt il merkezinde elde edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde SPSS paket programından yararlanılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular incelendiğinde farklı fakültelerden mezun olan öğretmenler ile farklı mesleki kıdeme sahip öğretmenler, ülkemizde uygulanan mevcut öğretmen atamalarında sorunlar olduğuna inanmaktadırlar. 129 ABSTRACT In this study appointment of teachers in our country was examined with a historical approach, and also the way of appointments of teachers was compared with the way that used in countries that are accepted as developed nations. Besides, the problems that arise in the appointments of teachers and teachers' opinion about these problems was examined. The data were obtained from teachers and managers, working in the centre of Siirt in the 2002 - 2003 school year. SPSS. packet program was used in analyzing data. As we examine findings obtained, we can strongly state that teachers, graduated from different faculties and have different occupational experiences, believe that our country has some problems in present teacher appointment process.
