The Stone Artifacts Belonging To the Examples of the Ottoman Period in Adana Ethnography Museum

Abstract

Adana İli, stratejik konumu ve verimli arazileri ile birçok medeniyet için önemli bir yerleşim merkezi olmuştur. İl; Emeviler, Abbasiler, Bizans, Memluklular, Ramazanoğulları ve Osmanlı Devirlerinde de bu önemini korumuş ve bu dönemlere ait mimari yapıların günümüze kadar ulaşılabilmesi açısından da büyük önem taşımıştır. ?Adana Etnografya Müzesi?ndeki Osmanlı Dönemine Ait Taş Eserlerden Örnekler? konulu çalışmamızda, Adana Etnografya Müzesi'nde bulunan Osmanlı Dönemine ait taş eserler incelenmiş ve buradaki yapı kitabeleri, mezar taşı kitabeleri ve armalar değerlendirmeye alınmıştır.Bu çalışmamızda, Osmanlı Dönemi?ne ait 16 yapı kitabesi, 44 mezar taşı kitabesi ve 1 arma'ya yer verilmiştir. Etnografya Müzesi'ndeki Osmanlı Dönemine ait eserler; ölçüleri, orijinal metinlerin yazılışları, transkripsiyonları, anlamları, dili, yazı türleri, formu, malzeme ve teknikleri hakkında bilgilendirmenin yanı sıra, süsleme programları ve üslup özellikleri bakımından da değerlendirilmiştir.

The city of Adana has been an important centre of population for several civilizations with its strategical location and fertile land. The city also protected its importance the period of Omayyed, bbasies, Byzantion, Mamluks, Ramazanoğulları and Ottoman Empire and alsoit carried great importance in terms of access architectural buildings belonging this period up to now. On our study, about ?The Stone Artifacts Belonging to the Examples of the Ottoman Period in Adana Ethnography Museum?, the stone artifacts of the period of Ottoman Empire has been studied in Adana Ethnography Museum and the structure inscriptions, gravestone inscriptions and badges in this era is considered. On our study there is 16 structure inscriptions 34 gravestone inscriptions and 1 badge belonging the period of Ottoman Empire. ?The Structures? belonging the Ottoman Empire in Ethnography Museum is studied about their measures, their original hand writings, transcriptions, their meaning, languages, kinds of writings, forms, metarials and techniques and also besides this it is considered the decorative program and features of its style.
