The Point Group Oh in the Crystal Physics
Abstract
Bu çalışmada, kristal fiziğindeki Oh nokta grubu İncelenmiştir. Kristal sistemlerin bir geometrik biçime indirgenmesi ve simetri işlemleri sonucunda bu geometrik biçimin, sistematik olarak matematik ifadelerle açıklanabilmesi, grup teorisinin fizik için önemini gösterir. Bu çalışma tamamen teorik bir çalışmadır. Bu nedenle tamamen teorik yöntemler kullanılarak, Oh nokta grubunun, simetri elemanları, grup özellikleri, sınıfları, kosetleri, matrisleri ve abelian alt grupları bulunmuştur. In this study, the point group Oh in the crystal physics has been investigated. The reduce of crystal systems to a geometrical configuration and as a result of symmetry operations, the ability to explain this geometrical configuration systematicly with the terms of mathematics, show the importance of 'Group Theory' in Physics. This study is purely theoretical. For that reason, the symmetry elements, group properties, classes, cosets, matrices and abelian subgroups of the 'Oh Point Group' were found by using theoretical methods.
