Plants Used in Folkloric Medicine in Savur (Mardin) Area and Their Application Areas

Abstract

Bu çalışmada; Mardin ili Savur yöresinde halk hekimliğinde kullanılan bitkilerin tespiti, kullanım amacı ve kullanım şeklinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma 2012- 2013 vejetasyon döneminde, Savur İlçe Merkezi, Savur İlçesi'ne bağlı 3 belde ve 35 köyde ile Savur İlçesi'ne bağlı köylere komşu olan Mardin Merkez'e bağlı 3 köyde yürütülmüştür. Araştırma kapsamında 207 kaynak kişi ile görüşme yapılmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda 43 familyaya ait 96 bitki türünün tedavi amacı ile kullanıldığı tespiti yapılmıştır. Araştırma alanında kullanımı belirlenen bitkilerden en fazla taksona sahip ilk 7 familya sırası ile Rosaceae 10 (%9.6), Asteraceae 9 (%8.6), Lamiaceae 6 (% 5.7), Cucurbitaceae 6 (%5.7), Solanaceae 4 (%3.8), Malvaceae 4 (%3.8), Fabaceae 4 (%3.8) olarak belirlenmiştir. Tespit edilen bitkilerin yöresel adları, kullanım şekilleri ve dozu, uygulama süreleri hakkında bilgiler derlenmiştir.In this study; it is amed to determine the the purpose and the mode of use of plants used in folk medicine in Savur (Mardin). Surveys were carried out in 3 villages of Savur towns and 35 villages in the district and there other villages of Mardin province, durind the years of 2012-2013. A total of 207 resource persons were interviewed. A total of 96 species belonging to 43 families were determined that these plants are used for therapeutic purposes. Rosaceae 10 (9,6 %), Asteraceae 9(8,6%), Lamiaceae 6 (5,7%), Cucurbitaceae 6 (5.7%), Solanaceae 4 (3,8%), Malvaceae 4 (3.8 %) and Fabaceae 4 (3.8 %), has been indentified major first 7 families that contain most of the taxons ,n the researech areae. local names and the mode of use of theraupeutic plants were documented.
