Abstract
Bu çalışma, Ile de France x Akkaraman G1 koçlarını baba materyali olarak kullanarak Karakaş kuzularında büyüme-gelişme, besi gücü ve karkas özelliklerini iyileştirmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Karakaş ve (Ile de France x Akkaraman G1) x Karakaş (IFAKKAR) F1 ve F2 melez dişi ve erkek kuzuları araştırmanın hayvan materyalini oluşturmuştur.Araştırmanın birinci safhasında elde edilen Karakaş ve F1 melez kuzuların doğum, 6 ve 12. ay canlı ağırlıkları sırasıyla 4.13 ve 4.67 kg, 31.37 ve 34.55 kg, 39.31 ve 43.53 kg; araştırmanın ikinci safhasında elde edilen Karakaş ve F2 melez kuzuların doğum, 6 ve 12. ay canlı ağırlıkları ise sırasıyla 4.18 ve 4.50 kg, 31.79 ve 30.14 kg, 39.29 ve 37.34 kg olarak belirlenmiştir. Karakaş ve F1 melez kuzularda sırasıyla besi başı ağırlığı 23.41 ve 23.72 kg, besi sonu ağırlığı 42.34 ve 40.83 kg, 1 kg canlı ağırlık artışı için kesif yem tüketimi 5.53 ve 5.05 kg, soğuk karkas ağırlığı 20.81 ve 19.54 kg, kuyruk ağırlığı 3.95 ve 1.05 kg, göz kası alanı 11.48 ve 13.81 cm2; araştırmanın ikinci safhasında elde edilen saf ve F2 melez kuzularda ise sırasıyla besi başı ağırlığı 25.44 ve 26.25 kg, besi sonu ağırlığı 40.55 ve 42.60 kg, 1 kg canlı ağırlık artışı için kesif yem tüketimi 5.91 ve 5.68 kg, soğuk karkas ağırlığı 18.66 ve 19.77 kg, kuyruk ağırlığı 3.14 ve 0.93 kg, göz kası alanı 11.55 ve 13.65 cm2 olarak belirlenmiştir.Böylece uzun süreli çalışmalarla, yüksek et verimine sahip iri yapılı, hızlı gelişen, kuyruk yağ oranı düşük ve bölge koşullarına adaptasyonu yüksek bir koyun tipinin geliştirilerek yaygınlaştırılabileceği düşünülmektedir.Anahtar kelimeler: Besi gücü, Büyüme-gelişme, (Ile de France x Akkaraman G1), Karakaş, Karkas özellikleri.
This study was carried out to improve growth traits, fattening performance and carcass characteristics in Karakaş lambs, using Ile de France x Akkaraman B1 ram. The experimental material was female and male lambs of Karakaş and (Ile de France x Akkaraman B1) x Karakaş (IFAKKAR) F1 and F2 crossbred.The data obtained from first phase of the investigation concerning the live weight at birth, 6 and 12 months of Karakas and F1 crossbred lambs were found as 4.13 and 4.67 kg, 31.37 and 34.55 kg, 39.31 and 43.53 kg respectively; The values obtained from Karakas and F2 crossbred lambs for the same period were 4.18 and 4.50 kg, 31.79 and 30.14 kg, 39.29 and 37.34 kg, respectively. Live weight at the beginning of the fattening 23.41 and 23.72 kg, live weight at the end of the fattening 42.34 and 40.83 kg, feed consumption for 1 kg live weight gain 5.53 and 5.05 kg, cold carcass weight 20.81 and 19.54 kg, tail weight 3.95 and 1.05 kg, M. longissimus dorsi area 11.48 and 13.81 cm2 were determined in Karakaş and F1 crossbred lambs respectively; live weight at the beginning of the fattening 25.44 and 26.25 kg, live weight at the end of the fattening 40.55 and 42.60 kg, feed consumption for 1 kg live weight gain 5.91 and 5.68 kg, cold carcass weight 18.66 and 19.77 kg, tail weight 3.14 and 0.93 kg, M. longissimus dorsi area 11.55 and 13.65 cm2 in pure and F2 crossbred lambs which get in second phase of the research respectively.In this way, with long term studies could be developed and extended a sheep type which high meat yield, big-framed, fast developing, low fat tail proportion and high of adaptation to the conditions of the region.Key words: Fattening performance, Growth, (Ile de France x Akkaraman B1), Karakaş, Carcass characteristics.
