Abstract
Bu araştırmada Kültürel Değerlere Duyarlı Eğitim Programının okul öncesi dönem çocuklarının ilkokula hazır bulunuşluk düzeylerine etkisinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Yarı deneysel desenin 'ön-test- son-test eşleştirilmiş kontrol gruplu' deseninde gerçekleştirilen bu araştırma deney grubunda 15, kontrol grubunda 15 olmak üzere toplam 30 okul öncesi dönem çocuğu ile yürütülmüştür Araştırma kapsamında deney grubuna 10 hafta süren toplam 23 etkinlik uygulanırken kontrol grubundaki çocuklara herhangi bir müdahalede bulunulmamıştır. Uygulamalar başlamadan önce deney ve kontrol gruplarına ön-test, uygulamalar tamamlandığında her iki gruba da son-test, 5 hafta sonrasında da izleme testi uygulanmıştır. Gelişimsel İlkokula Hazırbulunuşluk ölçeğinden elde edilen ön-test, son-test ve izleme testi puanları SPSS programına aktarılarak analizler yapılmıştır. Ölçümlerden elde edilen verilerin analizinde, her bir grubun ön-test, son test ve izleme testi ölçümleri arasında anlamlı farklılık olup olmadığını test etmek amacıyla Freidman Testi, anlamlı farkın tespit edildiği durumlarda farkın kaynağını belirlemek amacıyla ilişkili ölçümler için Wilcoxon İşaretli Sıralar Testi kullanılmıştır. Kontrol ve deney gruplarının son test ölçümleri ve yine bu grupların izleme ölçümleri arasında fark olup olmadığını belirlemek amacı ile Mann-Whitney U Testi kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre deney ve kontrol gruplarının her ikisinin de son-test puanlarında bir artış olduğu ve bu artışların izleyen süreçte de artarak korunduğu görülmüştür. Ayrıca kültürel değerlere duyarlı eğitim programı sonucunda, deney grubunun son-test ve izleme testi puanlarının kontrol grubundaki çocukların puanlarına göre anlamlı şekilde daha yüksek olduğu belirlenmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlar alanyazındaki çalışmalar ile karşılaştırılarak tartışılmış ve araştırmacılar ile uygulayıcılara yönelik bazı önerilerde bulunulmuştur. In this study, it was aimed to examine the effect of the Culturally Sensitive Education Program on the primary school readiness level of preschool children. This research, which was carried out in the 'pre-test - post-test paired control group' design of the quasi-experimental design, was conducted with a total of 30 preschool children, 15 of which were in the experimental group and 15 in the control group. Within the scope of the research, a total of 23 activities lasting 10 weeks were applied to the experimental group, while the children in the control group were not intervened with Before the applications started, the pre-test was administered to the experimental and control groups, and when the applications were completed, the post-test was administered to both groups, and after 5 weeks, the follow-up test was administered. The pre-test, post-test and follow-up test scores obtained from the Developmental Primary School Readiness scale were transferred to the SPSS program and analyzed. In the analysis of the data, the Freidman Test was used to test whether there was a significant difference among each group's pre-test, post-test and follow-up test, and the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test was used to determine the source of the difference among these groups. The Mann-Whitney U Test was used to determine if there was a difference between the experimental and control groups' the post-tests, and also their follow-up tests. According to the results, it was seen that there was an increase in the post-tests of both the experimental and control groups, and these increases were increasingly maintained in the following period. Also, as a result of the culturally sensitive education program, it was determined that the post-test and follow-up test scores of the experimental group were significantly higher than the scores of the children in the control group. The results were discussed through comparing with the studies in the literature, and some suggestions were presented researchers and practitioners.
