Investigation of the Satisfactions of the Services Provided To the Individuals Exercising at the Fitness Centers (east Anatolian Example)

Abstract
Bu çalışma, Doğu Anadolu Bölgesinde bulunan (Van, Erzurum, Siirt, Bitlis, Muş ve Hakkari) illerindeki Fitness salonlarını kullanan bireylerin, salonların memnuniyeti ile ilgili görüşlerini belirleyebilmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmada genel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmaya 1514 kişi katılmıştır. Araştırmada Uçan (2007) tarafından geliştirilen Spor-fitness Merkezleri Algılanan Hizmet Kalitesi Ölçeğikullanılmıştır. Veriler Veriler SPSS 15.0 istatistik paket programı ile Mann-Whitney-U testi kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Cinsiyet grupları ile etkileşim kalitesi, fiziksel çevre kalitesi, program kalitesi, ortam koşulları kalitesi ve ölçek toplamı alt boyutları arasında anlamlı bir fark olduğu bulunmuştur (p<0.05). Etkileşim kalitesi, çıktı kalitesi, fiziksel çevre kalitesi, egzersiz alet-ekipman program kalitesi ve ortam koşulları kalitesi ölçek alt boyutlarında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık tespit edilmiştir (p<0.05). Eğitim durumuna göre hizmet kalitesi algısının, etkileşim kalitesi çıktı kalitesi, fiziksel çevre kalitesi, egzersiz-alet ekipman, program kalitesi, ortam koşulları kalitesi ve ölçek toplamına ölçek alt boyutlarında ilişkin anlamlı bir şekilde farklılaştığı görülmektedir (p<0.05). Sonuç olarak; fıtness merkezlerine giden bireylerin bu merkezlerden almış oldukları hizmet kalitesinin memnuniyet verercek düzeyde olduğu ve bu merkezleri kullanan bireylerin fiziksel ihtiyaçlarını karşılayacak düzeyde olduğu sonucu elde edilmiştir. This study aims to determine the opinions of the individuals using the fitness centers in the provinces of the Eastern Anatolia Region (Van, Erzurum, Siirt, Bitlis, Muş and Hakkari) about the satisfaction of the halls. General survey model was used in the research. 1514 people participated in the research. In the study, the Sport-fitness Centers Perceived Service Quality Scale developed by Uçan (2007) was used. The data were analyzed with SPSS 15.0 statistical software using Mann-Whitney-U test. It was found that there was a significant difference between the quality of interaction with gender groups, physical environment quality, program quality, ambient conditions quality and sub-dimensions of scale. Similarly, a statistically significant difference (p <0.05) was determined in interaction quality, output quality, physical environment quality, exercise equipment-equipment program quality and environmental conditions quality. It is observed in the sub-dimensions of the scale that the perception of service quality according to the educational status differs significantly (p <0.05) in relation to interaction quality, output quality, physical environment quality, exercise-equipment, program quality, ambient conditions quality. As a result; It has been concluded that the quality of service provided by fitness centers is satisfactory and meeting the physical needs of individuals using these centers.
