Social Life Elements in the Za'îfî Divan of Rumeli

Abstract

Bu çalışmada XV. yüzyılın sonu ile XVI. yüzyılın ortalarında yaşamış bir divan şairi olan Rumelili Za'îfî'nin, Divan'ında yer alan sosyal hayat unsurları tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışmada Kâmil Akarsu'nun Rumelili Za'îfî Divanı adlı eseri esas alınmıştır. Çalışmanın giriş bölümünde Rumelili Za'îfî'nin; hayatı, sanatı ve eserleri hakkında kısa, öz ve açıklayıcı bilgilere yer verilmiştir. Çalışma giriş bölümünden sonra on bir ana bölümden oluşmaktadır. Çalışma; Osmanlı Toplum Yapılanması, Adet, İnanış ve Davranış biçimleri, Eğlence Hayatı, Mimari Yapılanma, Savaş Kültürü, Giyim- Kuşam, Yeme-İçme, Sağlık, Eşyalar, Deyimler ve Atasözleri, Ülkeler, Şehirler ve Milletler şeklinde tasnif edilerek ana bölümlere ayrılmıştır. Divan'da devrin sosyal hayatına dair tespit edilen unsurların şiir geleneğinde nasıl işlendiği ve hangi yönlerden şiire konu olduğu tespit edilerek açıklanmıştır. Bu çalışma ile XVI. yüzyıl Osmanlı'sında yaşayan Za'îfî' nin, devrin sosyal hayatıyla doğrudan alakalı birçok alana ait sosyal unsuru eserinde ele aldığı görülmüştür. Şairin, kuvvetli gözlemi sayesinde, sosyal hayatın her alanına dair en küçük nesneyi bile atlamadan şiirine yansıttığı ve estetik bir şiir anlayışı oluşturduğu fark edilmiştir. Kendine has mizahî yapısıyla şairin, mısralara canlılık kattığı tespit edilmiştir. Böylece şair, divan şiirinin günlük yaşamdan kopuk olmadığını aksine günlük yaşamın bir aynası, tercümanı olduğunu ustalıkla göz önüne sermiştir.

In this study, XV. between the end of the century and the XVI. Social life elements in the Divan of Rumelian Za'îfî, a divan poet who lived in the middle of the 19th century, were tried to be determined. In the study, the work of Kamil Akarsu named Rumelili Za'îfî Divanı was taken as a basis. In the introductory part of the study, the Rumelian Za'îfî; brief, concise and explanatory information about his life, art and works are given. The study consists of eleven main sections after the introduction. Study; Ottoman Social Structure, Customs, Beliefs and Behaviors, Entertainment Life, Architectural Structure, War Culture, Clothing, Food and Drink, Health, Goods, Idioms and Proverbs, Countries, Cities and Nations are divided into main sections. In the Divan, how the elements of the social life of the period were handled in the poetry tradition and in which aspects they were the subject of poetry were determined and explained. With this study, XVI. It has been seen that Za'îfî, who lived in the 19th century Ottoman Empire, dealt with the social elements of many areas directly related to the social life of the period in his work. It has been noticed that, thanks to the poet's strong observation, he reflects even the smallest object in every field of social life into his poetry and creates an aesthetic sense of poetry. It has been determined that the poet adds vitality to the verses with his unique humorous structure. Thus, the poet skillfully revealed that divan poetry is not disconnected from daily life, on the contrary, it is a mirror and interpreter of daily life.
