Research of the Serum Homocysteine Levels in Healthy Culture Cows Races

Abstract

Bu çalışmada sağlıklı kültür ırkı sığırlarda (Montofon, Holştayn, Simental) serum homosistein düzeylerinin tespit edilmesi amaçlandı. Çalışmanın materyalini; 20 büyükbaş montofon, 20 büyükbaş holştayn ve 20 büyükbaş simental toplam 60 büyükbaş kültür ırkı sığır oluşturdu. Her üç ırk kendi içerisinde bir grupta değerlendirildi. Çalışmaya alınan hayvanların sistemik muayenelerine göre sağlıklı oldukları saptandı. Kan örnekleri Vena Jugularisten tekniğine uygun olarak alındı. Elde edilen serum örneklerinden homosistein düzeyleri ticari test kitlesi kullanılarak test kitlesinin belirtileri prosedürüne uygun olarak ölçüldü. Her üç ırkta serum homosistein değerleri birbirine yakın değer olarak bulundu. Montofon ırkı serum homosistein 16.35±1.24 µmol/L, Holştayn ırkı serum homosistein 17.04±1.13 µmol/L ve Simental ırk serum homosistein 17.44 ± 1.22 µmol/L olarak tespit edildi. Her üç ırka ait CK, CK-MB, AST ve LDH değerleri normal fizyolojik sınırlarda saptandı. Sonuç olarak bu çalışmada sağlıklı kültür ırkı inekler için elde edilen serum homosistein değerlerinin referans değer teşkil edebileceği kanısına varıldı.In this study, we aimed to determine serum homocysteine levels in healthy culture cattles (Montofon, Holstein, Simmental). 60 cultivation cattle (20 montofon cattle, 20 Holstein cattle, 20 Simmental cattle) constitute this study's material. All three races were evaluated in a group within itself. According to the systemic examinations of animals used in this study were determined healthy. Blood samples were taken from animals according to the jugular vein technique. Homocysteine levels obtained from serum samples were measured using the commercial test kit in accordance with the procedure of symptoms of kit. The value of serum cystein levels in all three races were found close to each other. Serum homocystein levels were determined. These levels are in Montofon race is 16.35±1.24 µmol/L, in Holstein race is 17.04±1.13 µmol/L and in Simmental race is 17.44±1.22 µmol/L. The CK, CK-MB, AST and LDH values of all three races were determined within the normal physiological limits. As a result, in this study the serum homocystein values for healthy cultivation cows race can constitute a reference value was concluded.
