Ecotourism, Ecotourism Applications and Women's Role in the West Mediterranean

Abstract

Turizm insanların talep ve beklentilerinden etkilenen bir sektördür. Aynı zamanda doğal ve kültürel çevreyi etkileyen ve ondan etkilenen bir sistemdir. Bu nedenle değişen turist beklentilerine yönelik alternatif turizm çeşitlerinin günden güne artması turizmin güncelliğini koruyor olmasının göstergesidir. Ekoturizm turist talep ve beklentilerinin sonucunda, klasik turizm olarak adlandırılan deniz, kum, güneş turizmine alternatif olarak ortaya ortaya çıkmıştır. Ekoturizm doğal çevrenin ve kültürün korunmasını amaçlayan, aynı zamanda yerel kültürün değerlerine saygılı ve onları korumaya çaba sarf eden alternatif bir turizm çeşididir. Kültürün öneminden ötürü, yerel ürünlerin ekoturizmde önemli bir yeri vardır. Yerel ürünlerin yapılması ve pazarlanması konusunda da kadınların yeri yadsınamaz bir gerçektir. Bu nedenle çalışmada Batı Akdeniz Bölgesinde Doğuda Çıralı, Batıda Dalyan sınırları içerisinde yer alan destinasyonlarda ki ekoturizm, yerel ürünler ve kadınların bunlarda ki rolü araştırmaya konu edilmiştir. Çalışmada nitel ve nicel yöntemler birlikte kullanılmış, anket uygulanmış ve görüşmeler yapılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular neticesinde. Ekoturizm, yerel ürünler ve kadınlar arasında doğrudan ilişki olduğu ve bu sürecin doğru yönetilmesi halinde bölgede sürdürülebilir bir turizm hareketinin gerçekleştirilebileceği sonucu ortaya çıkmıştır.

Tourism is a sector affected by the demands and expectations of people. It is also a system that affects and is affected by the natural and cultural environment. Ecotourism is a kind of tourism aiming to protect the natural environment and culture. Ecotourism is a tourism alternative that assumes and preserves elements of local culture. Therefore, local products have an important place in ecotourism. Women's place in making and marketing of local products is an undeniable fact. Therefore, in this study, ecotourism, local products and the role of women in the destinations located within the borders of Dalyan in the West and Çıralı in the West Mediterranean Region were investigated. Qualitative and quantitative methods were used together, a questionnaire was applied and interviews were conducted. As a result of the findings. Ecotourism has emerged as a direct relationship between local products and women.
