The Effects of Plant Density on the Yield and Some Yield Components of Dry Bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) in Van Conditions

Abstract

Bu çalışma, Van ekolojik koşullarında fasulyede en uygun ekim sıklığının belirlenmesi amacıyla 2005 yılında tesadüf blokları deneme planına göre üç tekrarlamalı olarak yürütülmüştür. Denemede, Şehrali-90 kuru fasulye çeşidi 4 farklı sıra arası (30, 40, 50 ve 60 cm) ve 4 farklı tohumluk miktarlarında (20, 30, 40 ve 50 tohum/m2) ekilerek, ekim sıklığının verim ve bazı verim öğelerine etkisi belirlenmiştir. Deneme sonunda, farklı ekim sıklıklarının verim ve bazı verim öğelerine etkisi önemli olmuştur. En yüksek tane verimi ortalama 83.9 kg/da'la 50 cm sıra aralığı ve 20 tohum/m2 ekim sıklığından elde edilmiştir.

This study was conducted to determine the most suitable plant density for dry bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) in the Van ecological conditions in 2005. The trial was arranged in a randomized block design with three replications. In this study, Şehirali-90 dry bean cultivar was sown with different four row spacing (30, 40, 50 and 60 cm) and four plant density (20, 30, 40 and 50 seed/m2) and the effects of four spacing on yield and yield component in dry bean were examined. According to the results, the effect of plant density on the yield and yield components in dry bean was obtained significantly. The highest grain yield per unit area was obtained at the 50 cm row spacing and 20 seed per m2 density as 83.9 kg/da.
