The Stability of Solutions of Differential Equations and the Existence of Periodic Solutions

Abstract

Bu tez dört bölüm olarak hazırlanmıştır. Çalışmanın birinci bölümünde literatür bildirişi verildi ve Liapunov Fonksiyonun uygulamalardaki önemi vurgulandı. İkinci bölümünde daha sonraki bölümlerde kullanılacak temel tanımlar ve teoremler verildi. Üçüncü bölümünde belirli formlardaki vektör diferansiyel denklemlerin çözümlerinin kararlılığı ele alınırken dördüncü bölümünde ise, belirli formlardaki vektör diferansiyel denklemlerin periyodik çözümlerinin varlığı incelendi.Anahtar Kelimeler Liapunov Fonksiyonu, Üçüncü mertebeden lineer olmayan sistemler.

This thesis consists of four chapters. It was given the literature notices and emphasized the importance of Liapunov Function on applications in the first chapter of the work. In the second chapter, it was given the fundamental definitions and theorems, which will be used in the next chapters. In the third chapter, it was inquired the stability of solutions of vector differential equations in specific forms and in the forth chapter, it was investigated the existence of the periodic solutions of vector differential equations in specific forms.Key Words : Liapunov Function, Third order nonlinear systems.
