Van İlinde Görev Yapan Sözleşmeli ve Kadrolu Beden Eğitimi Öğretmenlerinin Mesleki Tükenmişlik Düzeylerinin İncelenmesi

Abstract

Mesleki tükenmişlik günümüzde çoğu bireyin yaşayabileceği büyük sorunların başında gelmektedir. Günümüzde, mesleki tükenmişlik tüm özel ve kamu çalışma alanlarında üzerinde önemle durulan konulardandır. Günümüz çalışma ortamları birçok açıdan tükenmişliğin gelişimine sebep olmaktadır. Çalışanlar ve kurumlar için ciddi problemlere sebep olan tükenmişlik; çalışma hayatını, bireyin maddi manevi durumunu, aile hayatını ve sosyal hayatını olumsuz yönde etkilemektedir. Tükenmişliğin en sık yaşandığı meslek guruplarından biride öğretmenliktir, kurumlarda beden eğitimi ve spor derslerini yürüten beden eğitimi öğretmenlerinin çalıştıkları kurumlardaki olumsuz şartların çoğu zaman öğretmenlerin üzerindeki etkileri karşımıza tükenmişlik olarak çıkmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı beden eğitimi öğretmenlerinin tükenmişlik düzeylerini belirlemektir. Çalışmanın evrenini Van ili, örneklemi ise Van iline bağlı İpekyolu, Tuşba, Edremit, Gürpınar ve Muradiye ilçelerinde çalışan 37 si bayan ve 84 ü erkek olmak üzere toplamda 121 kadrolu ve sözleşmeli beden eğitimi öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada, 22 sorudan oluşan Maslach tükenmişlik anketi ve 7 sorudan oluşan katılımcıların demografik bilgilerin bulunduğu, toplam 29 sorudan oluşan anket yöntemi uygulanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde SPSS (Statistical Package Program for Social Science) 21.0 programı yazılımı kullanılmış ve analizleri yapılmıştır. Çalışma sonuçları literatür sonuçlarıyla birlikte değerlendirildiğinde, beden eğitimi öğretmenlerinin mesleki tükenmişlik sorunu yaşamadıkları, duygusal yönden tükenmişliklerinin nispeten yüksek olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

Job/occupational burnout is one of the major problems that most individuals may experience today. Nowadays, Job/occupational burnout is one of the most important issues in all private and public work areas. Today's working environments lead to the development of burnout in many aspects. Burnout, which causes serious problems for employees and organizations; negatively affects working life, individual's material and moral status, family life and social life. One of the occupational groups which most frequently experienced burnout is the teaching, physical education teachers who carry out physical education and sports classes in institutions, the effects of the negative conditions in the institutions they work on the teachers appear as burnout. The aim of this study is to determine the burnout levels of physical education teachers. Sampling space is Van province and the samples taken from Van, İpekyolu, Tusba, Edremit, Gürpınar and Muradiye districts. The population of the study is composed of 121 permanent and contracted physical education teachers (37 female and 84 male). In this study, a questionnaire method consisting of 29 questions, the Maslach burnout questionnaire consisting of 22 questions and demographic information of participants with 7 questions, was applied. SPSS (Statistical Package Program for Social Science) 21.0 software was used for the analysis of the data. When the study results are evaluated with literature results, it is concluded that physical education teachers don't have occupational burnout and their emotional exhaustion is slightly high.
