A Revision of Exscapae F.n. Williams., Gypsophila L., Corymbosae Barkoudah and Ensifoliae Barkoudah Sections Belonging To Genus Gypsophila L. (Caryophyllaceae)

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Gypsophila L. (Caryophyllaceae) cinsine ait Exscapae F.N. Williams, Gypsophila L., Corymbosae Barkoudah ve Ensifoliae Barkoudah. seksiyonlarında yer alan 11 takson (G. serpylloides Boiss. & Heldr., G. adenophylla Barkoudah, G. peshmenii Güner, G. briquetiana Schischk., G. hakkiarica Kit Tan, G. pulvinaris Rech.f., G. davisii Barkoudah, G. graminifolia Barkoudah, G. brachypetala Trautv., G. tenuifolia M. Bieb. ve G. patrinii Ser.) araştırılmıştır. 2008 - 2012 yılları arasında gerçekleştirilen arazi çalışmaları ile seksiyonlara ait örnekler toplanmıştır. Bu materyaller üzerinde yapılan araştırmalar ile taksonların morfolojik, anatomik, ekolojik, palinolojik ve tohum yüzeyi özellikleri ile kromozom sayıları, doğal yayılışları, tehdit faktörleri ve habitatları araştırılmış ve bu incelemelere bağlı olarak yeni tehlike kategorileri önerilmiştir. Her bir taksonun ayrıntılı deskripsiyonu hazırlanmıştır. Diagnostik karakterler belirlenmiş, bu karakterlerle tür teşhis anahtarı hazırlanmıştır. DNA sekans çalışmaları ile taksonlar arası akrabalıklar ortaya konulmuştur. Bütün türlerin kromozom sayıları ilk defa bu çalışmada (G. tenuifolia hariç) belirlenmiştir. G. patrinii?nin Türkiye?de yayılışının olmadığı, G. hakkiarica?nın G. nabelekii Schischk.?nin bir sinonimi olduğu ilk defa bu çalışmada belirlenmiştir. Bilim dünyası için yeni bir tür olan G. karabukensis bu çalışma ile tanıtılmıştır. G. brachypetala tipten sonra ilk defa toplanmıştır.

In this study, eleven taxa (G. serpylloides Boiss. & Heldr., G. adenophylla Barkoudah, G. peshmenii Güner, G. briquetiana Schischk., G. hakkiarica Kit Tan, G. pulvinaris Rech.f., G. davisii Barkoudah, G. graminifolia Barkoudah, G. brachypetala Trautv., G. tenuifolia M. Bieb. and G. patrinii Ser.) appearing in sections of Exscapae F.N. Williams, Gypsophila L., Corymbosae Barkoudah and Ensifoliae Barkoudah. belong to genus Gypsophila were investigated. During our field studies between 2008 and 2012 years the samples of sections were collected. Characteristics of taxa such as morphological, anatomical, ecological, palynological, seed surface, chromosome numbers, natural distribution, the threat factors and habitats were examined on these materials. Depending on these researches, new threat categories were suggested for eleven taxa. Detailed descriptions for each taxon were prepared. Diagnostic characteristics of them were determined and the species key was prepared using these characteristics. Affinities between these species were determined by DNA sequences. Chromosomes numbers of these species (except G. tenuifolia) were identified in this study for the first time. At the end of this study; it was detected that G. patrinii is not in Turkey and G. hakkiarica is a synonym of G. nabelekii Schischk.. G. karabukensis was described as a new species for the first time. After type collecting of G. brachypetala was collected for the first time in our study.
