Language, Thema And Pedagogical Signs İn Gülten Dayıoğlu’s Children’s Novels

Abstract

Gülten Dayıoğlu, Türk Çocuk Edebiyatı'nın en üretken yazarları arasındadır. Bu güne kadar yetmiş iki çocuk kitabı yayımlamıştır. Dayıoğlu'nun oniki - ondört yaş arası çocuklara yönelik yazdığı on dört çocuk romanı bulunmaktadır. Çalışmamızın konusunu bu eserler oluşturmaktadır. Yazarın çocuk romanlarını göstergebilimsel bir bakış ile ele alıp değerlendirdik. Bunu yaparken göstergebilim ve eğitbilimsel göstergeler kavramlarını ele alıp açıkladık. Dayıoğlu'nun çocuk romanlarındaki eğitbilimsel göstergeleri bulup, ortaya çıkararak, yazarın satırlar ardından küçük okurlarına verdiği iletileri ve bu iletiler üzerinden romancının çocukları nasıl eğittiğini tespit ettik. Ayrıca çalışmamızda Gülten Dayıoğlu'nun 'Dili' üzerinde de durduk. Dil ve Göstergebilimin birbirinden ayrılmayan içiçe geçmiş iki alan olmasından dolayı yazarın dilini incelemeyi uygun gördük. Nitekim onun dili üzerinde yaptığımız araştırma ve inceleme göstergebilimsel çözümlemelerimizde onu ve eserlerini daha iyi tanımamıza yardımcı oldu. Ayrıca çalışmamızda 'Tema' başlığı altında Dayıoğlu'nun çocuk romanlarında kullandığı temaları da bulduk. Bu sayede onun romanlarının hangi temalar üzerine kurulu olduğunu tespit etmiş olduk. Nitekim çalışmamızın sonuç kısmında elde ettiğimiz bilgileri Türkçe eğitimi açısından ele alıp değerlendirdik.

Gülten Dayıoğlu is among the most creative authors of Turkish children?s literature. 72 children books of her have been published so far. There are fourteen children?s novels that she has written for the twelve-fourteen year old children. These works are the subject of our study. We evaluted the author?s children?s novels by semilogical point of view. While doing so , we dealt with the concepts of pedagogical signs and semilogy and explained them. By finding out and introducing the pedagogical signs in Dayıoğlu?s children?s novels , we identified the messages that the author gives to her little readers in the lines and how the author educated her children. Moreover, we stressed the language of Gülten Dayıoğlu in our study. Since language and semiology are two interpenetrated subjets which we can?t seperate from each other , we approved to analyse the language of the author. Thus, our thesis and study on her language helped us to know her and her works on our semilogical analysis. We also stated the themes that Dayıoğlu used in her children?s novels under the heading of ?theme?. Thanks to this , we determined which themes her novels are centered on. As a matter of fact we evaluated the knowledge we obtained at the end of our study in terms of Turkish education.
