A Research on the Yield and Yield Characteristics of Some Alfaalfa (Medicago Sativa L.) Cultivars Grown in Different Sowing Times

Abstract
Bu araştırma, Van koşullarında bazı yonca çeşitlerinin farklı ekim zamanlarındaki ot verimi ve bazı verim unsurlarını belirlemek amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma, 2006-2009 yılları arasında Van ili Gürpınar İlçesinde üretici şartlarında yürütülmüştür. Deneme, Bölünmüş Parseller Deneme Desenine göre üç tekrarlamalı olarak kurulmuş olup, ekim zamanları ana parselleri (20.03.2006, 20.04.2006 ve 20.05.2006 ile 01.09.2006, 01.10.2006 ve 01.11.2006), çeşitler (Desica, Kayseri, Bilensoy, MA-414, MA324) alt parselleri oluşturmuştur. Denemenin ilk yılında temizlik biçimi yapılmış olup, veriler 2007 ve 2008 yıllarında alınmıştır.İlk yıl ekim zamanları arasında önemli fark olmamakla birlikte en yüksek yeşil ot verimi 2714.3 kg/da ile 20 Mart ekiminden alınırken, denemenin ikinci yılında ekim zamanları arasında önemli farklılıklar görülmüştür. En yüksek yeşil ot verimi 3385 kg/da ile yine 20 Mart ekiminden alınmıştır. Kuru madde verimlerinde de yine ilk yıl ekim zamanları arasında önemli farklılıklar görülmemiş olup, verimler 737.5-839.9 kg/da arasında değişmiştir. Denemenin ikinci yılında en yüksek kuru madde verimi 1231.9 kg/da olarak 20 Mart ekiminden alınmıştır.Çeşitler arasında da verim bakımından önemli farklar görülmüş olup, en yüksek yeşil ot ve kuru madde verimi her iki yılda ve iki yıl birleştirilmiş analizde sırasıyla 2976-969.1, 3772.1-1331.2 ve 3374.2-1150.2 kg/da olarak Bilensoy çeşidinden elde edilmiştir. Sonbahar ekimlerinde ise herhangi bir çıkış sağlanamadığından dolayı verim ve verim unsurları ölçülememiştir.Anahtar kelimeler: Yonca, Çeşit, Ekim zamanı, Yeşil ot verimi, Kuru madde verimi, Makro ve mikro besin elementleri.
This research was conducted to investigate the effect of diferent sowing dates and cultivars on the herbage yield and some yield characteristics of Medicago sativa grown in the ecological conditions of Gürpınar, Van, Turkey in the vegetation periods of 2006-2009. The trial was performed in the split-plots design with three replicates and the main plots were the sowing dates (20.03.2006, 20.04.2006 and 20.05.2006 with 01.09.2006, 01.10.2006 and 01.11.2006) and the sub-plots were cultivars (Desica, Kayseri, Bilensoy, MA-414, MA-324). In the summer of 2006 one cleaning cutting was taken and the data were obtained from 2007 and 2008.Although there were not the sing differences among the seeding dates in the first year, the highest green herbage yield (2714,3 kg/da) was obtained from the 20 March sawing. There were sign yield differences in the second year and highest green herbage yield (3385.0 kg/da ) was obtained from 20 March sowing. There were not sign differences in the dry matter yield in first year and the yields ranged between 839.9-737.5 kg/da. In the second year, sowing in 20 March gave the highest dry matter yield (1231.9 kg/da ) again.There were important yield differences among the cultivars and Bilensoy had the highest green and dry matter yields in both years (2976.3-969.1 kg/da and 3772.1-1331.2 kg/da, for the first and second years, respectively).
