Abstract
Bu çalışmada fizikte ve mühendislikte çok önemli uygulamaları olan Lienard tipi denklemlerin çözümlerinin niteliksel davranışları incelenmiştir. Bu çerçevede tez boyunca önce üçüncü bölümde konuyla ilgili bir literatür özeti verildikten sonra dördüncü bölümde, Liapunov metodu kullanmadan, Lienard tipi denklemleri de içerecek şekilde bazı ikinci basamaktan diferansiyel denklemlerin çözümlerinin salınım, sınırlılık ve L^p-sınırlılığı üzerinde durulmuştur. Son olarak beşinci bölümde ise ikinci mertebeden lineer olmayan diferansiyel denklem sistemlerin belli varsayımlar altında global olarak varlığı, sınırlılığı ve asimptotik davranışları gibi niteliksel özellikleri ile ilgili çalışmalar ortaya konmuştur.
In this work, qualitative behaviours of solutions of Lienard type equations, which have very important applications in physics and engineering, were studied. For this purpose, throughout the thesis, after having been given a literature summary related to the topic firstly in chapter three, oscillation, boundedness and L^p-boundedness of solutions of some second order differential equations including also Lienard type were pointed without using Liapunov?s Method in chapter four. Lastly, in chapter five, important studies related to qualitative behaviours such as global existence, boundedness and asymptotic behaviours of second order non-linear differential systems were given in some certain assumptions.
