Determination of the Phenology, Morphology and Some Germination Characteristic of Summer Pheasant’s Eye (Adonis aestivalis L.) in Van

Abstract
Bu çalısmada, basta tahıllar olmak üzere birçok tarım alanında sorun olusturan kan damlası (Adonis aestivalis L.) tohumlarının fenolojik ve morfolojik özelliklerinin, çimlenme sıcaklıgının belirlenmesi, canlılık oranı, dormansiyi kırma çalısmalarının çimlenme üzerine etkileri arastırılmıstır. Çalısmada kullanılacak olan kan damlası tohumları, Van merkezindeki tarım alanlarında rastgele seçilen bölgelerden 2004-2005 yıllarında toplanmıstır. Adonis aestivalis tohumlarının %98 oranında canlı oldugu, minimum ve maksimum çimlenme sıcaklıgı tohumlarda meydana gelen güçlü dormansi nedeniyle tespit edilememistir. Meyve kabugunun tamamen uzaklastırılması çimlenme üzerine olumlu etkide bulunarak, çimlenme 2004 ve 2005 yılları için en fazla 15°C'de gerçeklesmistir. Katlama yöntemiyle 5 °C sogukta 60 gün bekletilen tohumlarda herhangi bir çimlenme gözlenmemistir. 5 °C'de bekletilen ve farklı ortamlarda çimlendirilen tohumların en iyi 0-2 cmtoprak derinliginde çıkıs yapabildigi belirlenmistir. HPLC yöntemi kullanılarak yapılan hormon analizi sonucu dısardan uygulanan GA3'in tohumlar tarafından alındıgı, en yüksek çimlenme oranının 2004 yılı için %18 ile 100 ppm'de, 2005 yılı için %20 ile 150 ppm'de gerçeklestigi belirlenmistir. Adonis aestivalis `in güçlü bir dormansiye sahip oldugu, meyve kabugunun uzaklastırılmasıyla da kabuk dormansinin kırılmasında önemli bir etkiye sahip oldugu düsünülmektedir. The seeds summer pheasant?s eye, to be used in the study were collected ramdomly from agricultural area in the central Van province in 2004 and 2005 years. It was detected that %98 of the Adonis aestivalis seeds a live,maximum. Germination temperature and minimum germination temperature were?nt determination because of high dormancy in seeds. As a results of the breaking dormancy study, germination temperature was found 15°C. After stratification it was detected that seeds germinated in varios mediums, were able to germinate of best 0-2 cm in soil depth. As a results of the hormone analsis used HPLC methot, it was seed that the applied GA was take in by the seed but became some of metabolic activities did not take place accumulation occured and germination took place in GA application highest germination rate was ascertained as 18 % in 100 ppm in 2004 and 20% in 150 ppm in 2005.
