Selection of Local Çermail Pears Grown in Erzincan Province
Abstract
Bu çalışma Erzincan yöresinde yetiştirilen Çermail armudunun özelliklerini belirlemek amacıyla 2007- 2008 yılları arasında Erzincan'da yapılmıştır. Birinci ve ikinci yıl alınan 46 armut genotipi üzerinde fenolojik, pomolojik analizler yapılmış ve yapılan değerlendirmeler sonucunda 15 adet ümitvar genotip tespit edilmiştir. İki yılın ortalama rakamlarına göre, incelenen Çermail armudunun genotiplerinde meyve ağırlıkları 53.1- 136.9 g, meyve eti sertliği 2.7-9.6 kg/cm², asitlik % 5.5-16, pH değeri % 2.6-4.5 arasında belirlenmiştir.Sonuçlar genel olarak Çermail armudunun açık yeşil renkte, çok sulu, orta kumlu, mayhoş tada sahip olduğuna ve yörenin armut genetik kaynaklarınca zengin olduğuna işaret etmiştir.Anahtar kelimeler: Erzincan, Armut, Çermail, Meyve
This study was conducted to define the tree and fruit characteristics properties of local Çermail pears grown in Erzincan in 2007-2008. The phenologic and pomologic analyses of 46 pear genotypes were completed in two years and 15 promising genotypes were selected. The mean fruit weight, fruit flesh firmness, acidity and pH valves of promising pear genotypes were averagely between 53.1- 136.9 g; 2.7?9.6 cm/kg, 5.5?16%, 2.6?4.5%, respectively.Results indicate that Çermail pear had a light green colour, highly juicy and mild sandy structure and sourish flavour and Erzincan province is rich in pear genetic resources.Key Word: Erzincan, Pear, Çermail, Fruit
