Popular Culture After 1960’s Islamic Novel for Reflection and Criticism

Abstract

Anahtar Kavramlar: İslâmî Edebiyat, Tanzimat, Cumhuriyet, İslâmcılık,Modernizm, Popüler Kültür, Popüler İslâmî Roman?Tanzimat'la birlikte başlayan değişim sürecinde Türk edebiyatına dahil olanroman sanatı, başlangıcından günümüze kadar modernleşmenin kültürel ayağı olarakişlev görmüş ve bu doğrultuda gelişmiştir. Henüz doğuşunda siyasal bir eğilimesahip olan Türk romanı, yeni rejime geçişle birlikte egemen devlet ideolojisinintaşıyıcısı olan cumhuriyet romanı, sert modernleşme politikalarının oluşturduğubaskıcı ortamda kendi alternatiflerini doğurtmaya ve muhtelif ideolojilere angajeromanların çıkışına sebebiyet vermiştir.1960'lı yılların kısmi serbesti ortamında vücut bulan popüler İslâmî romanlarda, egemen devlet ideolojisine muhalif ve alternatif bir yazın olarak Türk romanıiçerisindeki yerini almıştır. Erken dönem cumhuriyet romanı ve toplumsal gerçekçiMarksist köy romanlarının din-dışı ve din-karşıtı söylemine karşın, 'romana karşıromanla taarruz' fikrinden doğan, estetik amaç yerine ideolojik gayeler güden buroman türü, İslâmcı ve popülist bir söylemle sosyal ve siyasal bir mücadele vermeyeçalışmaktadır.Tamamen reaksiyoner-savunmacı bir oluşum olan ve toplumsalkutuplaşmaların had safhada olduğu belli bir dönemde ivme yapan popüler İslâmîromanlar, dindar kesimin bazı hassasiyetlerini ajite ederek yaygınlık ve popülaritekazanmışlardır. Birbirine benzer kurgu ve karakterlerinden ötürü hidayet romanlarıolarak da isimlendirilen popüler İslâmî romanlar, modernleşmeyle birlikte var olanpopüler kültürün dindar kesimdeki yansımasının ürünleridir. Yapısal olarak popülerkültür ve popüler edebiyat ile benzer özellikler gösteren bu romanlar, giderekmodernizme eklemlenmiş ve işlevselliğini kaybetmeye başlamıştır.İslâmî edebiyatla özsel bir bağı olan popüler İslâmî romanlar, estetikdüzlemde İslâmî edebiyatın en çok bir alt türü sayılabilecek niteliktedirler. Sonuçitibariyle, teknik açıdan birçok eksiği olan popüler İslâmî romanlar, edebî birincelemeden ziyade sosyolojik bir incelemenin konusu olmaya aday metinlerdir.
