Verification and translation of Kitâbü'l-ḥadâʾiḳ fi'l-Meṭâlibi'l-Aliyeti'l-Felsefiyyeti'l-ʿAvîṣa of Ebû Muhammed Abdullah B. Muhammed B. Sîd al-Batalyawsî

Abstract

Bu çalışmada 'Ebû Muhammed Abdullâh b.Muhammed b. Sîd el-Batalyevsî'ye (ö. 521/1127) ait Kitabü'l-Hadâ'ik fi'l-metalibi'l-âliyeti'l-felsefiyyeti'l-'avîsa isimli eserinin tahkik, tercüme ve tahlili yapılarak literatüre kazandırılması hedeflenmektedir. Söz konusu eser XI. yüzyılda yazılmış felsefi bir metindir. Temel felsefi problemler hakkında sorulan yedi soruya verilen cevaplardan oluşmaktadır. Eser XI. ve XII. yüzyıl Endülüs felsefi anlayış ve birikimini anlama ve felsefeye bakış açılarını yakalama noktasında önem arz etmektedir. Eserde Tanrı-âlem ilişkisi, varlık mertebeleri, insanın eşyayı tasavvur etme keyfiyeti ve sınırı, ilâhî sıfatlar, nefsin ölümsüzlüğü, ilm-i ilâhî konuları işlenmektedir. Batalyevsî bu konulardan her birini ayrık başlık altında ele alarak açıklamıştır. Çalışmamız beş bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde, eserin müellifinin hayatı, hocaları, öğrencileri ve eserleri hakkında genel bilgiler verilmektedir. İkinci bölümde, bu çalışmada faydalanılan yazma nüshalar, tahkik ve tercümede takip edilen yöntem ve eserin tanıtımıyla ilgili bilgiler yer almaktadır. Üçüncü bölümde eserin tahkikli metnine yer verilmiştir, Dördüncü bölümde Arapçadan Türkçeye yapılan tercüme yer almaktadır. Son bölüm olan beşinci bölümde ise eserin tahlil ve değerlendirmesi yapılarak çalışma sonlandırılmıştır.

This study aims to bring the work of 'Abû Muhammad Abdullâh b.Muhammad b. Sîd al-Batalyawsî (ö. 521/1127) named Kitabü'l-Hadâıq fi'l-metalibi'l-âliyeti'l-felsefiyyeti'l-'avîsa to the literature by making an analysis, translation and verification of the work. The mentioned work is a philosophical text written in the 11th century. It consists of answers to seven questions inquired about basic philosophical problems. The work is significant in understanding the 11th and 12th-century Andalusian philosophical view and accumulation and capturing the perspectives on philosophy. The relationship between God and the universe, the levels of existence, the nature and limit of man's conception of things, divine attributes, the immortality of the soul, and divine knowledge are discussed in the work. Batalyewsi discussed each of these issues under a separate title and supported the views of philosophers from time to time with verses and hadiths. This study comprises five chapters. In the first chapter, it is given general information about the life of the author, his teachers, students, and works. In the second part, the information about the manuscripts used in this study, the method followed in the verification and translation, and the introduction of the work are included. The third chapter includes the translation from Arabic to Turkish. In the fourt chapter, the verified text of the work is given. In the fifth chapter, which is the last chapter, the study was concluded by analyzing and evaluating the work.
