Selection of Local Genotypes From the Pomegranate (Punica granatum L.) Population Grown in Pervari (Siirt) Region

Dr. Ahmet KAZANKAYAOcak 2006, 55 sayfaBu çalışma Siirt ili Pervari ilçesinde yetiştirilen önemli nar genotiplerininağaç ve meyve özelliklerini tespit etmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. 25 genotip üzerindeyapılan incelemelerde meyve ağırlıkları 197-328 g arasında değiştiği saptanmıştır.Genotiplerden 25'i asit içeriklerine göre tatlı olarak sınıflandırılmıştır.Meyve suyu endüstrisine uygunluk yönünden yapılan değerlendirmede 12tip seçilmiştir. Dane randımanı %56.60-66.40 arasında değiştiği saptanmıştır. Danerengi pembe ile kırmızı olarak tespit edilmiştir.Meyve suyunda suda çözünür kuru madde oranları %13-25 arasındadeğiştiği saptanmıştır. İncelenen genotiplerde 25'inin ekonomik anlamdayetiştirilmesi tavsiye edilebilir.Anahtar kelimeler: Nar, Meyve, Pomoloji, Pervarii

Prof. Dr. Ahmet KAZANKAYAJanuary 2006, 55 pagesThis study was carried out in order to determine the tree and fruitcharacteristics of important pomegranate genotypes grown in Pervari town of Siirtprovince. During the observation, the fruit weights of 25 genotypes ranged from197g to 328 g. These 25 genotypes were classified as sweet based on their aciditycontent.The twelve genotypes were chosen for fruit juice industry because they metthe suitable criteria. Seed yield varied from 56.60 % to 66.40 %. Seed color waseither pink or red.Total soluble solid content in fruit juice ranged from 13 % to 25 %. Allinvestigated 25 genotypes were found to advisable for economical production.Key words: Pomegranate, Fruit, Pomology, Pervariiii
