Development of Lyapunov's Direct Method

Abstract

Bu tezin amacı, tezde ele alınan diferansiyel denklem ya da diferansiyel denklem sistemleri için, çözümlerin Lagrange kararlılığı, Lagrange global üstel kararlılığı, Lorenz sisteminin kararlığı, üç boyutlu sistemlerde kararlılık, güçlü kararlılık, Lipschitz kararlılık vb. ile ilgili olarak literatürde yapılmış bulunan bazı çalışmaları araştırmacıların dikkatine sunmaktır. Bu tez çalışması sekiz bölümden oluşmaktadır: Tezin birinci bölümünde, tez konusu ile ilgili olarak literatürde yer alan bazı bilgilere yer verildi. Tezin ikinci bölümünde ise, literatürde yapılan bazı çalışmalar özet olarak verildi. Tezin üçüncü bölümünde, tezde kullanılacak materyal ve yöntem belirtildi. Tezin dördüncü bölümünde, tez konusuna ait temel kavramlar, tanım ve teoremler verildi. Tezin beşinci bölümünde, Lagrange kararlılık, Lagrange asimptotik kararlılık, düzgün Lagrange kararlılık, Lorenz sistemi için Lagrange üstel kararlılığı ve uygulamalarına yer verildi. Tezin altıncı bölümünde ise, güçlü kararlılık ve pratik kararlılık kavramları verildi. Tezin yedinci bölümünde, Lipschitz kararlılık incelendi. Sekizinci bölümde ise, üç boyutlu sistemlerde kararlılık kavramı incelendi. Bu tez orijinal sonuç içermemektedir.The aim of this thesis is to bring some sicentifc works in the literature to the attention of researchers, which are related to the Lagrange stability and globally exponentially stability, stability of the Lorenz system, stability in three-dimensional systems, strongly stability, Lipschitz stability and so on. This thesis consists of eight chapters. In the first chapter of the thesis, some bascic information in the literature realated to the subject of thesis is given. In the second chapter of the thesis, some works in the literature, which related to the content of this thesis, are outlined as a summary. In the third chapter, the materials and methods to be used in the thesis are presented. In Chapter 4 of the thesis, some basic concepts, definitions and theorems on the subject the thesis are given. In Chapter 5 of the thesis, Lagrange stability, Lagrange asymptotically stability, Lagrange uniformly stability, Lagrange exponentially stability to the Lorenz system and some applications, etc., are given. In Chapter 6, the concepts of the strongly stability and practically stability are given. In the seventh chapter of the thesis, Lipschitz stability is discussed. In the eighth chapter, stability of a three-dimensional system is investigated. This thesis contains no original results.
