Husaın Waı'z Al Kashıfı's Akhlaq-ı Muhsini

Abstract

İslâm ahlâk düşüncesinde ahlâk ile ilgili farklı türlerde birçok eser verilmiştir. Ahlâk-ı Muhsinî de siyasetnâme türü olarak dönemin sultanı Hüseyin Baykara'nın isteği üzerine Hüseyin Vâiz el- Kâşifî tarafından Ebü'l Muhsin'e ithafen yazılmıştır. Bu anlamda birçok İslâm ahlâkçısı ve eserinin akademik çalışmalara konu edildiği görülmektedir. Diğer taraftan yapılan incelemelerde Ahlâk-ı Muhsinî adlı eserin çok az sayıda akademik çalışmaya konu edildiği tesbit edilmiştir. Böylece bu çalışma kendi alanındaki bir açığın kapatılmasına katkı sağlamak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Bu bağlamda çalışmanın konusunu Osmanlı dönemi ahlakçılarından biri olan ve yazdığı eserlerle klasik dönem ahlak anlayışını önemli ölçüde yansıtan Hüseyin Vâiz el- Kâşifî'nin Ahlâk-ı Muhsinî' adlı eserinin incelenmesi oluşturmaktadır. Çalışma giriş ve üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. İlk bölümde Hüseyin Vâiz el- Kâşifî'nin hayatı ve eserleri hakkında bilgiler verilmektedir. İkinci bölümde Ahlâk-ı Muhsinî etraflıca ele alınmakta ve İslâm ahlâk düşüncesindeki yeri, içerik ve üslup açısından incelenmektedir. Üçüncü bölümde ise eserde geçen belirli erdemler çerçevesinde Ahlâk-ı Muhsinî'nin içerik analizi yapılmaktadır. In Islamic ethical thought, there have been many different works on ethics. 'Akhlaq-ı Muhsini', which is dedicated to Abu Al-Muhsin, was written by Husain Wai'z Al-Kashifi on the request of Hüseyin Baykara, the sultan of the period, as a kind of politicame. In this sense, it has been seen that the works and lives of many Islamic moralists has been subjected to academic studies. However, it has been observed that Husain Wai'z Al-Kashifi's 'Akhlaq-i Muhsini' has been subjected to only in a few academic studies. This study has been carried to fill the gap in the literature on the field. In this context, this the content of this thesis consists of Akhlaq-i Muhsini work of Husain Wai'z Al-Kashifi, who is one of the Ottoman moralists and reflects the classical moral understanding with his works. This thesis consists of an introductory chapter and three other chapters. The first chapter provided information about intellectual biography of Husain Wai'z Al-Kashifi, and the social environment during his life period. The chapter also highlighted a general understanding of the science of ethics. The second chapter extensively analyzed his book 'Akhlaq-i Muhsini,' which is a source of an excellent source for this study, in the lights of its translations during different periods. In addition to this, the chapter discussed Husain Wai'z Al-Kashifi' s understanding of ethics with its sources. The last part of the thesis conducted a virtue-axis study. The chapter also examined some virtues in detail through the classification and grounding of the problem.
