Evaulation of Milk and Dairy Products in Turkey and European Union Legislation

Abstract

Ülkemiz süt ve süt ürünleri üretim ve tüketim konusunda yıllar içinde büyük bir yol almış, gerek tüketicinin bilinçlenmesi gerekse Avrupa Birliği yolunda attığımız adımlar bu süreçte süt sanayinin en yeni teknolojilerle genişlemesine katkıda bulunmuştur. Hiç şüphesiz mevzuatlarla desteklenen bu süreçte, süt ve süt ürünleri mevzuatlarımızın en güncel hali ile Avrupa Birliği'ne uyum çerçevesinde hazırlanması büyük önem arz etmektedir. Bu tez çalışmasında; ülkemizdeki süt ve süt ürünleri mevzuatları incelenmiş, Avrupa Birliği mevzuatlarıyla birlikte değerlendirilmiştir. Bu çalışmada süt ve süt ürünlerine yönelik Türkiye ve Avrupa Birliği mevzuatlarının ayrıntılı olarak kıyaslanması sonucunda; ülkemizin bu konuda ileriye dönük çalışmaları olduğu, bakanlık mevzuat biriminin çok sayıda mevzuatı Avrupa Birliği'ne uyum çerçevesinde paralel olarak hazırladığı görülmüştür. Fakat eski tarihli mevzuatların hala yayımda olması sebebiyle, bu mevzuatların güncellenmesi ve bu konuda yapılan çalışmaların artırılması yönünde sonuca varılmıştır.

Our country has taken a big way in the production and consumption of milk and dairy products, and the steps we have taken towards the European Union and the consumer's awareness have contributed to the expansion of the milk industry with the newest technologies in this process. In this process, which is undoubtedly supported by legislation, it is of great importance to prepare our milk and milk products legislation in the most current form with in the framework of harmonization with the European Union. In this study; milk and dairy products in our country were examined and evaluated together with EU regulations. In this study, milk and dairy products for Turkey and the European Union legislation has made the comparison in detail. As a result; it is seen that our country has a forward-looking study on this issue, and that the ministry prepares a large number of legislation in parallel with the European Union. However, due to the fact that the old legislation was still in force, it was concluded that these legislations should be updated and the studies on this subject should be increased.
