Determining the Change in the Attitude of Teacher Candidates in Primary Education Towards the Field of Sciences

Abstract

Bu çalışma beş bölümden oluşmaktadır.Birinci bölümde, yapılan çalışmanın içeriği hakkında bazı bilgilerverilmiştir. Konunun önemi belirtilmiştir. Eğitimin tanımı, gelişimi ve önemi,niteliği, ülkemizde eğitimin gelişimi, ülkemizde öğretmen yetiştirme, eğitimdeöğretmenin rolü, öğretmen yeterliklerinin meslekteki başarı ile ilişkisi, öğretmendebulunması gereken nitelikler ve öğretmen yetiştirme yeterlikleri, fen bilgisi dersleriiçin öğretmende bulunması gereken nitelikler ve fen bilgisi öğretmen becerilerikonuları araştırılmıştır.kinci bölümde, tutumla ilgili yapılan çalışmalar araştırılmıştır.Üçüncü bölümde, tutumla ilgili üniversite öğrencilerine anketuygulanmıştır.Dördüncü bölümde, uygulanan anketin sonuçları değerlendirilmiştir.Beşinci bölümde, bulgular tartışılmıştır.Anahtar kelimeler: Tutum, Tutum değişimi, Fen bilgisi öğretmen adayıThis study consists of five chapters.In the first chapter, an introductory knowledge was given about the contentof the study, and the importance of the subject was emphasized. A number of topicsranging from the importance, the development and the introduction of education, itsdevelopment in Turkey, teacher training in Turkey, the role of teachers in education,the relation of teacher?s qualification with the success in the profession,qualifications required for a teacher, teacher training proficiencies, qualities to befound for the teaching of sciences to the skills of teacher of science have beenresearched.The second chapter deals with the studies conducted on attitudes.In the third chapter, a questionnaire was applied to the university studentsabut attitudes.In the fourth chapter, the results of the questionnaire were evaluated.In the fifty chapter, finding were discussed.Key words: Attitude, Change of attitude, Sciences teacher candidate
