The Panorome of Women Playwriting in Post-Millennium Turkish Theater Literatur
Abstract
Bu tezde, milenyum sonrası Türk tiyatro edebiyatında kadın oyun yazarlarının rolleri ve toplumsal dinamikler üzerindeki etkileri incelenmiştir. Türk tiyatrosunda kadınların tarihsel rolüne kısa bir bakış attıktan sonra, 2000 yılı sonrasında eser veren kadın yazarların, aile, kadın-erkek ilişkileri, iş hayatı ve bireyin içsel yolculuğu gibi konuları nasıl ele aldıkları detaylı bir şekilde analiz edilmiştir. Bu dönemde öne çıkan kadın oyun yazarları arasında Hatice SEÇİM, Figen ŞAKACI, Karden KASAPLAR, Ebru Nihan CELKAN, Elif SOLAK, Banu Ayten AKIN, Ayşe BAYRAMOĞLU, Müşerref Öztürk ÇETİNDOĞAN, Günay ERTEKİN ve Yeşim ÖZSOY' un oyunları incelenmiştir. Tezin amacı, milenyum sonrası eserlerinde işlenen temalar, karakterler ve anlatım biçimlerini derinlemesine inceleyerek, bu eserlerin toplumsal dinamikler, aile ilişkileri ve bireysel özgürlük gibi konularda nasıl bir perspektif sunduğunu ortaya koymaktır. Ayrıca, bu eserlerin Türk tiyatrosunun genel yapısına ve toplumsal kültürel algıya katkıları değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırma, niteliksel metodoloji kullanılarak yapılmış olup, eser analizleri, karakter incelemeleri ve tematik değerlendirmeler araştırmanın temelini oluşturmuştur. Dönemin sosyo-kültürel bağlamı, tezin analizlerinde dikkate alınarak kadın yazarların eserlerinin anlamı ve önemi detaylı bir şekilde ele alınmıştır. Akademik makaleler, tiyatro eleştirmenlerinin yorumları ve döneme dair diğer literatür tezin ana kaynakları arasındadır. Bu tez, milenyum sonrası Türk tiyatrosunda kadın yazarların önemli bir yeri olduğunu ve toplumsal dinamikler üzerinde etkili olduklarını göstermektedir.
This thesis examines the roles of female playwrights in post-millennium Turkish theater literature and their effects on social dynamics. After taking a brief look at the historical role of women in Turkish theatre, it is analyzed in detail how female writers who wrote works after 2000 addressed issues such as family, male-female relations, business life and the individual's inner journey. Among the prominent female playwrights of this period, the plays of Hatice SEÇİM, Figen ŞAKACI, Karden KASAPLAR, Ebru Nihan CELKAN, Elif SOLAK, Banu Ayten AKIN, Ayşe BAYRAMOĞLU, Müşerref Öztürk ÇETİNDOĞAN, Günay ERTEKİN and Yeşim ÖZSOY' were examined. The aim of the thesis is to examine in depth the themes, characters and narrative styles in the works of post-millennium women writers and to reveal what perspective these works offer on issues such as social Dynamics, family relations and individual freedom. Additionally, the contributions of these works to the general structure of Turkish theater and social cultural perception are evaluated. The research was conducted using qualitative methodology, and work analyses, character studies and thematic evaluations form the basis of the research. The socio-cultural context of the period was taken into account in the analysis of the thesis, and the meaning and importance of the works of women writers were discussed in detail. Academic articles, comments of theater critics and other literature of the period are among the main sources of the study. This thesis shows that women writers have an important place in post-millennium Turkish theater and that they have an impact on social dynamics.
