Abstract
This study was carried out to determine the most suitable phosphorus andsulphur levels for lentil under Van ecological conditions. Three phosphorus (0, 4 and8 kg/da) and four sulphur (0, 3, 6 and 9 kg/da) levels were applied in Sazak-91 inlentil cultivar to find out their effects on the yield and yield components. The studywas conducted in the fields of Agricultural Faculty of Yuzuncu Yıl University byusing complete randomised block design with the three replication. In the study were investigated the effect of sulphur and phosphorus levelson the plant height, first pod height, numbers of branches, numbers of pod per plantand numbers of seed per plant, numbers of seed per pod, seed yield per unit area, harvest index, protein ratio in seed, phosphorus content seed and 1000 seed weight. While the highest seed yield per area was obtained from 4 kg/daphosphorus and 9 kg/da sulphur levels with 175.0 kg/da, the lowest value wasobtained from control plots with 107.7 kg/da.Key words: Phosphorus, Sulphur, Lentil, Yield
