Abstract
Bu çalışmada, Van Gölü'ne dökülen Karasu Çayı'nın su kalitesi değişimini incelemek amacıyla, bazı su kalitesi ve kirlenme parametrelerinin analizi için belirlenen dört örnekleme noktasında, Kasım 2009 ve Ekim 2010 tarihleri arasında her ay yerinde ölçümler yapılmış ve alınan su örnekleri laboratuarda analiz edilmiştir. Çalışmada bulanıklık, su sıcaklığı, çözünmüş oksijen, oksijen doymuşluğu, elektriksel iletkenlik, pH, kalsiyum, magnezyum, toplam sertlik, toplam alkalinite, karbonat, bikarbonat, klorür, tuzluluk, nitrat, nitrit, amonyum, amonyak, fosfor, sülfat parametreleri belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır.Araştırma boyunca su sıcaklığı 0.8-24.5 °C arasında, ÇO 5.60-17.86 mg/L arasında ortalama 10.03 mg/L, saturasyon % 62.3-191.2 arasında ortalama % 119.4, pH 8.23, Eİ 601.4 ?S/cm, tuzluluk ? 0.08, klorür 47.66 mg/L, kalsiyum 31.0 mg/L, magnezyum 111.2 mg/L, toplam sertlik 536 mg/L CaCO3, karbonata tüm aylarda ve örnekleme noktalarında rastlanılmamış, bikarbonat 452.2 mg/L, toplam alkalinite 370.3 mg/L CaCO3, nitrat 4.1 mg/L, nitrat azotu 0.9 mg/L, nitrit 0.017 mg/L, amonyum 0.41 mg/L, amonyak 0.40 mg/L, ortofosfat 0.19 mg/L, toplam fosfor 0.06 mg/L, sülfat 19.5 mg/L olarak belirlenmiştir. Karasu Çayı bulanıklık ve pH dışında birçok kriter bakımından Su Kirliliği Kontrolü Yönetmeliğine göre I. ve II. su kalitesi sınıflarında değerlendirilebilir.Anahtar Kelimeler: Karasu Çayı, Van Gölü havzası, Su kalitesi, Su kirliliği
In this study, some water quality and pollution parameters were analyzed to investigate water quality changes in Karasu Stream which inflows to Lake Van. The in situ measurements and laboratory analyses were made on water samples taken from 4 sampling points on the Karasu Stream Bed monthly, between November 2009 and October 2010. In the study, turbidity, water temperature, dissolved oxygen, dissolved oxygen saturation, conductivity, pH, calcium, magnesium, total hardness, total alkalinity, carbonate and bicarbonate, chloride, salinity, nitrate, nitrite, ammonium, ammonia, phosphorus, sulphate were analyzed.They were determined that water temperature was between 0.8 °C and 24.5 °C, dissolved oxygen between 5.60 and 17.86 mg/L, average 10.03 mg/L, saturation between 62.3% and 191.2%, average 119.4%, pH average as 8.23, conductivity as 601.4 ?S/cm, salinity as 0.08?, chloride as 47.66 mg/L, calcium as 31.0 mg/L, magnesium as 111.2 mg/L, total hardness as 536 mg/L CaCO3, bicarbonate as 452.2 mg/L, total alkalinity as 370.3 mg/L CaCO3, nitrate as 4.1 mg/L, nitrate nitrogen as 0.9 mg/L, nitrite as 0.017 mg/L, ammonium as 0.41 mg/L, ammonia as 0.40 mg/L, orthophospote as 0.19 mg/L, total phosphorus as 0.06 mg/L and sulfate as 19.5 mg/L were defined during research. At the all sampling points and all months, carbonate were not encountered.
