Psychological and Sociological Effects of the Belief of the Life After Death Over Human Being

Abstract

İslam'ın temel kaynakları olan Kur'an-ı Kerim ve Hadis-i Şeriflere dayanarak İslam âlimleri, birçok yerde, birçok insanın anlayacağı bir şekilde ahiret inancı, ahiretin varlığı, ahiret ahvali ve ahiret inancının insan hayatı üzerindeki etkileri hakkında genişçe bilgiler sunmuşlardır. Ehl-i Sünnet ve'l Cemaat, Mu'tezile, Şiia, Cebiriye v. b. Birçok kelam ekolü ahiret hayatı ve bu hayatın, dünya hayatına olan yansımaları hakkında değişik görüşler öne sürmüşlerdir. Daha çok rivayetlere dayanarak yapılan bu izahlar, zamanla bilimin gelişmesi ve insan üzerinde yapılan araştırma ve izlenimlerle daha farklı bir boyut kazanmış, konu ile ilgili rivayetler bilimsel açıdan da te'yit edilmiştir.Hem ruhi hem de bedeni özelliklere sahip olan insana dünya hayatında mutluluk ve huzur temin edecek olan ancak ahirete olan inancıdır. Ahiret inancı insanın ruhunda var olan ebedi yaşama arzusunu tam anlamıyla tatmin etmiş, bu inanç sayesinde insan kişiliğini bulmuş, ahlaki değerlere bağlı kalarak, göstermiş olduğu davranışlarından dolayı kendini mesul hissetmekle boş ve faydasız işlerden uzak durmuştur. İnsan hayatında önemli bir yer tutan ve kaçınılmaz olan ölüm gerçeğini insan, ahiret inancı sayesinde doğru bir biçimde anlamış, ahiret inanmayanları ürküten ölümü, kendisi için saadet kapılarını açacak bir başlangıç olarak görmüş ve ona göre hazırlığını yapmıştır.Sosyal bir varlık olan ve toplumla birlikte yaşamak zorunda olan insanlar, ancak ahiret inancı sayesinde rahat ve huzurlu bir hayat yaşayabilirler. Eğer ahiret inancı olmazsa ehli namusun malı ve ırzı tehlikede kalır, aileler dağılmaya, çocuklar ağlamaya, gençler saldırganlığa, ihtiyarlar ümitsizliğe, fakirler, yoksullar ve hastalar üzülmeye, başlar. Terör olayları yaygınlaşır, mal dağılımında adaletsizlikler başlar, baskıcı ve zalim yönetimler halkın rahatını ve huzurunu alt üst eder.Toplumu içine düştüğü bu sıkıntılardan kurtaracak, rahatını ve huzurunu temin edecek ancak Allah ve ahiret inancıdır.

Based on Quran and hadiths that are the main sources of Islam and in a way that most of the people can understand easily; Islamic scholars have given extensive information about the belief of life after death, its presence and circumstances, and its effects over human life. Ehl-i Sünnet ve?l Cemaat, Mu?tezile, Şiia, Cebiriye and etc. Several Islamic theologs have posited differents views about the life after death and its reflections over the earth life. These explanations that are mostly based on hearsays, have had a different dimension in the length of time, hearsays about the topic have been affirmed by scientific research.The only thing, that will ensure comfort and peace to human who have mental and physical features, is the belief of life after death. The belief of life after death has completely satisfied people?s hope of being deadless, people have found their personalities, they have obeyed moral rules, by holding oneself responsible for behaviours, they have avoided doing unnecessary things. By the help of the belief of life after death, human being has correctly understood the reality of death that has an important place in human life and that is unavoidable, and accepted the death, that frightens the people not believing the life after death, as a start that will open heaven doors and made preparations for this.People, who are social and who have to live within the society, can only have a comfortble and peaceful life with the belief of the life after death. If there is no belief of life after death, people?s property and chastity would be under danger, families would fall apart, children would cry, the youth would start to be agressive, old people would be desperate and poor and sick persons would start to be sad. Terror would spread, injustice in distribution of possessions would occur, repressive and cruel rulers would destroy people?s peace and comfort.The belief of Allah and the belief of life after death are the only concepts that will save the society from those problems and will ensure the peace between people.
