Muş Waqfs

Abstract

Muş'un, sosyal ve kültürel gelişmesinde çok büyük rolü olan Muş Sancağı vakıflarının, ferdi-içtimaî ihtiyaçların karşılanması ve cemiyet hayatındaki ekonomik imkânlara katkısı vurgulanarak, Muş'a tarihi süreç içerisinde kazandırmış olduğu eserler belirlenmiştir. Bu çalışmanın giriş kısmında Muş bölgesinin coğrafik ve tarihsel yönü ile vakıf müessesi üzerinde durulmuştur. Daha sonraki bölümlerde Muş Sancağında kurulan vakıflara değinilmiştir. Muş Sancağında yapılan araştırmada; on yedi adet medrese, on altı adet cami, yirmi iki adet zaviye, üç adet tekke, beş adet türbe, üç adet hamam, iki adet han, iki adet çeşme, iki adet köprü, on bir adet şahıs vakfı olmak üzere toplam seksen üç adet vakıf eseri tespit edilmiştir.Anahtar Kelime: Muş, Vakıf, Medrese, Cami, Zaviye.This paper is mainly about the supply of personal-social needs Muş sanjak?s waqfs and their enormous support to economic life of society. Waqfs of Muş Sanjak, which has great role in the social and cultural development of Muş, have brought great monuments to Muş during the history. The introduction of this paper focuses on the cografik and historical aspects of Muş and the institution of waqf. The later parts of the paper are mostly about the waqfs that have been established in Muş. According to the researches that have been done in Muş Sanjak, it is determined that there are eighty three waqf monuments which are seventeen medressehs, sixteen mosques, twenty two nooks, three tekkes, five turbehs, three bathhouses, two hostels, two bridges and eleven personal waqfs in Muş.Key words: Muş, Waqf, Medresseh, Mosque, Nook.
