dc.description.abstract Identifying the perceptions of the 7th and 8th year primary-school students in relation to their school-life quality studying at public schools at Van, 430 students participated to the study. Data were collected using adapted version (called school-life quality at primary schools) of Ainley and Bourke's (1992) 'school-life quality' scale. At school-life quality, dimensions named opportunity and success, social-integration, general-satisfaction, and teacher, students 'never' perceive at the opportunity and success dimension, whereas they 'rarely' perceive at the remaining dimensions. 8th grade students' perceptions on general satisfaction dimension are more positive than the perceptions of 7th grades'. Female students' perceptions at the teacher dimension are more positive than male students'. In terms of class-size, students studying at 26-30 and 36-40 class-sizes have less positive perceptions than the students studying at 46-over class-sizes. Additionally, students studying at 36-40 class sizes are more positive than the students studying at more or less class-size students. en_US
