Abstract

90 ABSTRACT The aim of this research is to show concept of alienation in Turkish story between 1960 and 1980. In this period, alienation is the main topic of our writers who were focusing on migration, industrialisation, unemployment, ideological approaches etc. In fact these are the problems of socio-cultural changes in Turkey that many changes had deep impact in our society is involved in alienation. While evaluating Turkish story between the period written above it was necessary to work about some selected writers. Therefore the writers who were worked about in this study selected against the certain problems of our socio-cultural life in the period of 1960-1980. The sample writers are Bilge Karasu, Oğuz Atay, Leyla Erbil, Rasim Özdenören, Adnan Özyalçmer, Tomris Uyar and Mustafa Kutlu. This study, at the end, is completed with summary, conclusion and bibliography.
