Synthesis of the Cytosine Schiff Base and Some It's Metal Complexes

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Sitozin ve Salisilaldehit'in direk reaksiyonu ile kondenzasyonundan oluşan Schiff bazı sentezlendi. Daha sonra bu sitozin Schiff bazının Cu(II), Zn(II), Ni(II), Co(II), ve Cd(II) tuzlarıyla reaksiyonundan sırasıyla, [Cu(L-Sal)2.(H2O)2].4H2O, [Zn(L-Sal)2.(H2O)2].4H2O, [Ni(L-Sal)2.(H2O)2].6H2O,[Co(L-Sal)2.(H2O)2].6H2O, [Cd(L-Sal)2.(H2O)2].6H2O metal kompleksleri sentezlendi. Kompleksler kondüktometri, magnetik susseptibilite ölçümleri, elementel analiz, IR ve Uv / Vis spektrum değerleri ile karakterize edildi.Anahtar kelimeler : Schiff bazı metal kompleksleri, Sitozin, Salisilaldehit

In this study cytosine and salicylaldehyde direct reaction and Schiff base which obtained from condensation of it. After that, cytosine Schiff base metal complexes have been synthesized by reaction of the sytosine Schiff base with Cu(II), Zn(II), Ni(II), Co(II), Cd(II) as general formulas [Cu(L-Sal)2.(H2O)2].4H2O, [Zn(L-Sal)2.(H2O)2].4H2O, [Ni(L-Sal)2.(H2O)2].6H2O, [Co(L-Sal)2.(H2O)2].6H2O, [Cd(L-Sal)2.(H2O)2].6H2O All the complexes have been characterized by means of conductometry, magnetic susceptibility measurements, elemental analyses , IR,Uv/Vis spectral studies.Key words: Metal complexes of Schiff base, Cytosine, Salicylaldehyde,
