The Comparison of Goverment and Private Secondary Schooll's Math Lesson Teaching Purposes' Implement Level

Abstract

Bu araştırma, ilköğretim ikinci kademe matematik öğretiminde devletokulları ve özel okullarda matematik öğretimindeki farklılıkları ve bu farklılıklarınbaşarıya etkilerinin belirlenmesi amacıyla hazırlandı.Araştırmada her iki tür okulda da öğrencilerin ön bilgileri sınanmış vedaha sonra ilgili konular işlendikten sonra konuların kavranma düzeylerininbelirlenmesi için yazılı sınavlar uygulanmıştır. Yazılı sınav sonuçlarıdeğerlendirilerek öğrencilerin öğrenmedeki farklılık nedenlerini tespit etmek içinanket hazırlanmıştır. Hazırlanan anket öğrencilere uygulanarak elde edilen verileraritmetik ortalama standart sapma ?t? testi ile analiz edilmiştir. Yapılan analizdeSPSS paket programı kullanılmıştır.Araştırmada elde edilen bulgular aşağıda özetlenmiştir:1. Öğrenci matematik öğrenmesi noktasında nasıl bir yol izlemesi hakkındayeterli bilgiye sahip değildir.2. Özellikle devlet okulu öğrencileri evde çalışma zorunluluğu hissetmiyorlar.3. Aileler eğitim-öğretim sisteminin içine yeterli derecede çekilemiyor.4. Matematik dersinin konuları hem fazla hem de daha çok işlem yığınışeklindedir.5. Devlet okullarında geç öğrenen öğrencilere yönelik bir eğitim-öğretimprogramı izlenmemektedir.6. Matematik dersinde yeterli derecede araç-gereç kullanılmamaktadır.7. Okullarda matematiksel etkinlikler yapılmamaktadır.8. Devlet okullarında öğrencilerin girecekleri sınavlara yönelik denemesınavları yeterli derecede yapılmamaktadır.9. Öğrenciler matematiğe olan genel kanaatten dolayı kaygı taşımaktadırlar.Başarı durumlarının toplum tarafından genel kanaate çevrileceğidüşüncesindeler.10. Devlet okulu öğrencisi sınıf ortamında yeterli cesarete sahip değildir.11. This research has been prepared to show differences in Math lesson inPrivate and Government Secondary schools and to show the effects of thesedifferences to success.In the research, the previous knowledge of students from both kinds ofschools is tested and after the concerned topics are studied, written exams areapplied to check the level of students. A questionnaire has been prepared todetermine causes of the personal differences of the students in learning. After thestudents are subjected to the prepared questionnaire, the acquired data is analyzed bythe arithmetic mean, standard deviation (t) test. In the applied analyze, the packetprogram SPSS is used.Datas got from the research are summarized as below:1. The students have no enough knowledge as to which route to follow in thepoint of Math learning.2. Especially the students from Government schools do not feel the necessityof studying at home.3. The families are not attracted enough into the Education System.4. The subjects of Math are both many in numbers and are mostly in the formof piles of Mathematic calculations.5. In Government schools, there is no educational program towards thestudents whose learning level is low.6. There not enough equipment in the Math lesson.7. There are not enough mathematic activities in schools.8. In government schools, the students are not adequately exposed to levelchecking exams.9. The students have some fears because of some prejudices about Math.They have the opinion that their success will be the criteria of what theyare in the eye of the society.10.
