Abstract
Bu çalışmada 'Alanya Arkeoloji Müzesi'nde Bulunan Bizans Sikke Örnekleri' başlıklı tez konusu ele alınarak Alanya Arkeoloji Müzesi'ne satın alma ya da devir yoluyla getirilen 56 adet Bizans sikke örneği envanter kayıtlarına bakılarak incelenmiştir. Alanya Arkeoloji Müzesi'nde incelenen sikke örnekleri 6.yüzyıl ile 10.yüzyıla tarihlendirilmektedir. Başta İstanbul olmak üzere Anadolu'da siyasi varlığını sürdürmüş Bizans İmparatorluğu'nun kültürel izlerini taşıyan Bizans sikkeleri bizlere Bizans'ın siyasi gücünü ve ekonomik gücüne ait bilgiler sunmaktadır. İncelenen Bizans sikkelerinin bir kısmını 'Anonim Follisler' adı verilen bir grup sikke örneği oluşturmaktadır. Müzede yer alan anonim follis örnekleri kendi aralarında çeşitli sınıflara ayrılmıştır. Bunlar A, B, C ve I Grubu'nu oluşturan sikke örnekleridir. In this study, 56 pieces of Byzantine coin samples brought to the Alanya Archeology Museum by purchase or transfer were examined by looking at the inventory records by taking the thesis topic 'Byzantine Coin Examples Found in Alanya Archeology Museum'. The coin samples examined in the Alanya Archeology Museum are dated to the 6th century and the 10th century. The Byzantine coins, bearing the cultural traces of the Byzantine Empire, which continued its political existence in Anatolia, especially in Istanbul, provide us with information about Byzantium's political power and economic power. Some of the Byzantine coins analyzed are a group of coins called 'Anonymous Follis'. Anonymous follis samples in the museum are divided into various classes among themselves. These are examples of coins forming the A, B, C and I Groups. In the studied study, samples of 12 anonymous coins belonging to the folllis group were examined. In the catalog study, a total of 56 coins were photographed on the obverse and back, thus allowing better examination of the coins. In my thesis, 'Anonymous Follis', which constitutes a part of the catalog study evaluated in Byzantine coins and Byzantine coins, has been introduced and grouped. The aim of the study, which is carried out as a catalog study, is to introduce and evaluate Byzantine coins by the catalog method. In the study, firstly, Alanya Archeology Museum was introduced. Afterwards, brief information about the Byzantine Empire was given and then the definition and history of the coin was explained. In addition, brief information was given about Byzantine coin features, inscriptions used in coins, emperors and titles of emperors on coins, coin units, mints. In the sixth chapter, the cataloging of the coins has been done. In the last part of the thesis, which was made in the form of a catalog study, an evaluation study was made on the coins and information was given about the mints where the coins were minted, the titles of the emperors, figures, and geometric vegetal arrangements. Key Words: Alanya Archeology Museum, Byzantine coins, Catalog work
