Abstract
Anahtar kelimeler: Aşılama, Fosfor, Marul, Mikoriza, Verim.i
In this study, effects of phosphorus and mycorrhiza applications on plantgrowth and phosphorus uptake in lettuce were investigated. At the end of the research, it was obtained that there were significantincreases in yield criteria with phosphorus applications over the control in lettuceplant (P<0.01). However, increments in leaf number were not significant.Mycorrhiza applications significantly increased plant diameter and plant dry weight(P<0.01). But, the increments in the other yield criteria were not significant withmycorrhiza applications.Phosphorus uptake by plant was significantly affected with phosphorusapplications (P<0.01). It was determined that the highest phosphorus uptake was85.92 mg/pot in 200 mg P2O5/kg application, and the lowest phosphorus uptake was58.81 mg/pot in control application. Mycorrhiza applications significantly increasedthe phosphorus uptake by plants (P<0.01). The mean phosphorus uptake in pots withmycorrhiza application, 75.14 mg/pot, was higher than that in pots withoutmycorrhiza application, 69.66 mg/pot.Effects of interactions between mycorrhiza and phosphorus applications onyield criteria and phosphorus uptake were significant statistically (P<0.01). It wasfound that positive effects of mycorrhiza on yield criteria and phosphorus uptakedecreased with increasing phosphorus application doses.Key words: Inoculation, Phosphorus, Lettuce, Mycorrhiza, Yield.iii
