Abstract

ÖZET ÇOCUKLARIN BAZI FEN KONULARI HAKKINDAKİ DÜŞÜNCELERİNİN ARAŞTIRILMASI KAN, Sabri Yüksek Lisans Tezi, Fizik Anabilim Dalı Tez Danışmam: Doç. Dr. Salim ORAK Haziran 2003, 63 sayfa Sunulacak bir bilgiyle ilgili öğrencilerin bakış açıları ve önbilgileri eğitimde önemli bir yer tutar, öğretimi yapılacak konunun sonunda hedeflenen başarıyı yakalamak için kullanılan yöntem, teknik ve materyalin yanı sıra öğrenci görüşlerinin bilinmesi eğitime önemli bir katkı sağlayabilmektedir. Bu çalışmada öğrencilerin ilköğretim okullarında fen bilgisi ve liselerde fizik dersleri içinde yer alan ışık, elektrik, ısı ve sıcaklık ile hareket ve kuvvet konulan hakkındaki düşünceleri araştırıldı. Çalışma, 2001-2002 yıllan arasında Van'da merkez ilköğretim okullan ve liselerinde öğrenim görmekte olan öğrencilerle görüşmeler yapılarak gerçekleştirildi. Çalışmada könulann öğretiminde eğitimcilere ışık tutacak önemli yaklaşımlar tespit edilmiştir. Konu yaklaşımlannın aynı yaş aralığında ve aynı sınıfta öğrenim gören öğrenciler için aynı olduğu görülmüştür. Araştırması yapılan konularla ilgili Milli Eğitim müfredatında yer alan davranışların tamamının kazanılmış olması beklenemez. Ancak buna rağmen bu davranışlann büyük bölümünün kazanılmamış olması dikkat çekici bulunmuştur. Araştırmanın bir başka önemli yön de araç-gereç kullanımı ve öğretimi yapılacak konuya göre eğitim ortamının hazırlanmasının öneminin bir kez daha ortaya çıkmış olmasıdır. ABSTRACT THE RESEARCH OF CHILDREN'S IDEAS IN SOME SCİENCE SUBJECTS KAN, Sabrı MSc, Physics Science Supervisor: Assoc Prof. Dr. Salim ORAK June 2003, 63 pages The students backgrounds and views connected with knowledge to be introduced occupies an important issue. Not only can the process, technique and materials used to reach the targetted success contribute the education but also to know the students thoughts, at the end of the subject to be studied. In this study, the students knowledge as regard with light, electric, head and temperature and motion and force, which take place in this science lessons in primary school, secondary school and physics lessons in lycee; have been searched. This study has been achieved by interviewing the student during 2001-2002. It has been found out that there have been crucial approaches in teaching the subjects for the teachers. It has been witnessed that the approaches on subjects have been the same by the students who have been the same age, level, and catagory. The fact that the attitudes and approaches taking place in National Education curriculum to be gainned totally could not be expected, but despite this, the achievement and the gaining of most of these tasks by the students have attracted attention. Another importance of this study is that the use of teaching materials according to the subjects to be taught in education has once more proven its essence.
