Axel Olric, Lord Raglan ve Stith Thompson'a Göre Memê Alan Destanı

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın temel konusu Memê Alan Destanıdır. Bu yüzden bu çalışmamızın konusu Kürtler için önemli bir yeri olan Memê Alan Destanın Stith Thompson'un motif indexine göre tasnifi, Axel Olrîk'in epik yasalarına ve Lord Raglan'ın kahraman kalıbı açısından incelenmesidir. Memê Alan Destanı hemen hemen Kürtlerin yaşadığı bütün coğrafyalarda bilinen, söylene gelen bir destandır. Bu destan Kürt ozanlar tarafından günümüze kadar taşınmış ve korunmuştur. Destan her ne kedar bazı bölgelerde değişikliğe uğramış olsa da günümüze kadar birçok varyantını korumayı başarmıştır. Memê Alan Destanının Kürt toplumunda önemli bir yeri vardır. Foklorik açıdanda zengin bir yere sahiptir ve toplum tarafındanda ortak bir kabullenişe mazhar olmuştur. Bu yüzden bu çalışmada Memê Alan Destanı üzerinde durulmuş ve destan beş bölümde incelenmiştir. Birinci bölümde destan kavramının iyi anlaşılması için destan türü hakkında kısa bir tanım yapılmış, ikinci bölümde Kürt destanları arasında ortak birçok motif ve tama olması açısından diger Kürt destanları hakkında da bilgiler verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde Memê Alan destanı Stith Thompson'un 'Halk Edebiyatının Motif İndexi' ne göre destanda tespit edilen motiflerin tasnifi yapılmıştır. Dördüncü bölümde Memê Alan Destanı Axel Olric'in 'Epik Yasaları' na göre değerlendirilmiş, beşinci ve son bölümde ise destan Lord Raglan'ın 'Kahraman Kalıpları' açısından incelenmiştir. The main material of this study is the Memê Alan Epic. Therefore, the subject of this study, which has an important place for Kurds, is the classification of the epic according to the motif index of Stith Thompson, its examination according to Axel Olrîk's epic laws and Lord Raglan's heroic pattern. The Memê Alan Epic is a legend that is known in all geographies where the Kurds live. This epic has been preserved and conveyed till our days by the Kurdish bards. Despite the fact that the epic has been changed in some regions, it has managed to protect many of its variants until today. The Memê Alan Epic has an important place in the Kurdish society, has a rich place in terms of folklore, and has a common acceptance by the society. Therefore, in this study the Memê Alan epic is emphasized and studied in five chapters. In the first chapter: a brief description of the epic genre is given for a better understanding of the epic concept. In the second chapter: due to the fact that there are many common motifs and wholeness in Kurdish epics, the information about other epics is also given. In the third chapter the classification of motifs determined in the epic according to Stith Thompson's Motif Index of Folk Literature is done. In the fourth chapter: the evaluation of the epic according to Axel Olric's epic laws is made, in the fifth and last chapter the epic was examined in terms of the heroic patterns of Lord Raglan.
