Abstract
Supercapacitors are capable of storing and converting energy. However, low energy densities limit the practical application area. Preparation electrodes having good stability, conductivity, and electrochemical activity are one of the vital issues in supercapacitors materials and their applications. Transition metals and metal hydroxides have been widely used in the fabrication of electrodes in electrosensing studies. These materials increase the energy density, conductivity, electrochemical activities, etc. Thus, using transition metals and metal oxidizes/hydroxides as supercapacitors have been an important factor to improve and diversify the electrochemical methods. This article includes synthesis methods of inorganic materials for supercapacitors. © 2022 WILEY-VCH GmbH, Boschstr. 12, 69469 Weinheim, Germany.
