Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, zorunlu eğitimin kesintili olarak 4+4+4=12 yıl olmasıyla ilgili yönetici ve öğretmen görüşlerinin ortaya konulmasıdır. Yönetici ve öğretmen görüşlerinin ortaya konulması için Seçkisiz yöntemle oluşturulan çalışma grubumuz toplamda 108 ilkokul, 128 ortaokul, 102 lise öğretmeni ile 78 ilkokul, 77 ortaokul, 76 lise yöneticisi olarak belirlenmiştir. Beşli Likert tipi yanıtlama yöntemiyle oluşturulan Yönetici ve öğretmen görüş anketi uygulanmıştır. Yapılan araştırma sonucunda yöneticilerin ve öğretmenlerin 4+4+4 sisteminin devletimizi ve milletimizi çağdaş muasır medeniyetler seviyesine çıkaracağı inancında oldukları ve bu sistemle getirilen yönlendirme eğitiminin ortaokul 1. sınıfından itibaren başlatılması, başlı başına bir reform özelliği taşıdığı, eğitim sistemimizdeki yapılan bu değişikliği gerektiren sebepler, yapılan değişiklikler ile ulaşılmak istenen hedefler hakkında bakanlık tarafından öğretmenlerin ve yöneticilerin yeterli düzeyde bilgilendirilmedikleri ortaya çıkmaktadır. Bu yönlendirme eğitiminin çocuğun zekâ tipine uygun gerçekçi bir şekilde yapılabilmesi için uygulayıcıların mutlaka konuyla ilgili hizmet içi eğitimden geçirilmeleri gerekmektedir. Öğretmenlerin ve yöneticilerin bilgilendirilmesi amacıyla; hizmet içi faaliyetlerinden yararlanılarak kesintili zorunlu eğitimi tanıtıcı ve bilgilendirici kurslar düzenlenmelidir, gibi sonuç ve öneriler ortaya çıkmıştır. The aim of this study is related to compulsory education intermittently 4 + 4 + 4 = 12 years, administrators and teachers is to put forward their views. Administrators and teachers' perceptions of working out a random method generated a total of 108 primary schools in order to put our group, 128 secondary schools, 102 primary schools with 78 teachers, 77 secondary schools, 76 high schools were identified as administrator. Five-point Likert generated by answering the questionnaire was administered to principals and teachers opinion. It was found out that administrators and teachers believed that the 4+4+4 system would make our state and nation reach the level of modern civilizations and the launch of the direction (orientation) approach, which was introduced by this system, as of the middle school 1st grade was a reform on its own, and that teachers and administrators were not informed by the ministry enough in regard to the reasons requiring such changes in the education system and the goals intended to be achieved with such changes. In consideration of the foregoing, the present study put forward some implications: To conduct such direction (orientation) approach realistically in accordance with children's intelligence types, implementers need to be provided with an in-service training about the subject; and courses aimed at introducing discontinuous compulsory education should be arranged based on in- service activities in order to inform teachers and administrators.
