The Flora of Zilan Valley (Erciş-Van)

Abstract

Bu çalışma ile Zilan Vadisi'nin (Erciş-Van) Florası araştırıldı. 2005-2008 yılları arasında gerçekleştirilen bu araştırmanın arazi çalışmaları sonucunda 4300 bitki örneği toplandı. Toplanan bu bitki örneklerinin teşhisi sonucu alanda; 83 familya ve 385 cins'e ait 951 tür, 147 alttür ve 58 varyete olmak üzere toplam 1156 takson tespit edildi. 1156 taksonun 5'i Pteridophyta, 1151'si Spermatophyta divisiolarına aittir. Spermatophyta üyelerinden 5'i Gymnospermae ve 1146'sı Angiospermae alt divisiosuna dahildir. Angiospermae'lerin 961'i Dicotyledones ve 185'i Monocotyledones sınıfında yer almaktadır. Belirlenen taksonlardan 32 tanesi B9 karesi için yeni kayıttır. Draba anatolica O. Karabacak & L. Behçet, çalışma alanımızdan toplanıp bilim dünyasına tanıtmak amacı ile yayına gönderildi.Alandan toplam 92 (% 7.95) endemik takson belirlenmiştir. Endemik ve nadir toplam 120 taksonun tehlike kategorilerine dağılımları ise şöyledir: 1 takson kritik ?CR?, 3 takson tehlikede ?EN?, 36 takson zarar görebilir ?VU?, 16 takson tehdit altına girebilir ?NT?, 63 takson az endişe verici ?LC? ve 1 takson veri yetersiz ?DD?.İran-Turan fitocoğrafik bölgesinde yer alan çalışma alanında tespit edilen taksonların fitocoğrafik bölgelere göre dağılımı şöyledir; İran-Turan elementi 421, Avrupa-Sibirya elementi 83, Akdeniz elementi 28, Öksin elementi 23, Hirkan-Öksin elementi 10 ve çok bölgeli veya fitocoğrafik bölgesi bilinmeyenler 591' dir.İçerdikleri tür ve türaltı takson sayılarına göre alanda en büyük ilk 10 familya sırasıyla; Asteraceae 200 (% 17.30), Fabaceae 112 (% 9.68), Poaceae 91 (% 7.87), Brassicaceae 78 (% 6.74), Lamiaceae 75 (% 6.48), Caryophyllaceae 61 (% 5.27), Scrophulariaceae 50 (% 4.32) Rosaceae 47 (% 4.06), Liliaceae 42 (% 3.63) ve Apiaceae 41 (% 3.54)'dir.

This research covers the flora of Zilan Valley (Erciş-Van). As result of the field survey carried out between 2005 and 2008, 4300 plant specimens have been collected. According to the taxonomical examination of these materials; 385 genera, 951 species, 147 subspecies and 58 varieties belonging to 83 families were determined. A total of 1156 taxa have been determined from the area. 5 species of the total 1156 taxa are belonging to Pteridophyta division and 1151 taxa are belonging to Spermatophyta division. Gymnospermae and Angiospermae subdivisions have 5 and 1146 taxa respectively. In Angiospermae, Dicotyledones and Monocotyledones include 961 and 185 taxa respectively. Out of these taxa, 32 of them are new for the B9 grid square. Draba anatolica O. Karabacak & L. Behçet collected from the study area have been introduced to science as a new species and it is in publication process.A total of 92 (7.95 %) endemic species have been determined from the area. The distribution of the endemic and rare taxa according to the red data is as follows: 1 taxa in critically ?CR?, 3 taxa in endangered ?EN?, 36 taxa in vulnerable ?VU?, 16 taxa in near threatened ?NT?, 63 taxa in least concern ?LC? and 1 taxa in data deficient ?DD?The research area is located in Irano-Turanian phytogeographic regions. The phytogeographic distribution of the recorded species from the area is as follows: Irano ? Turanian 421, Euro ? Siberian 83, Mediterranean 28, Euxine 23, Hyrcano-Euxine 10 and unknown phytogeographic elements 591.According to their taxa content, the greatest 10 families are ordered as follows: Asteraceae 200 (17.30 %), Fabaceae 112 (9.68 %), Poaceae 91 (7.87 %), Brassicaceae 78 (6.74 %), Lamiaceae 75 (6.48 %), Caryophyllaceae 61 (5.27 %), Scrophulariaceae 50 (4.32 %), Rosaceae 47 (4.06 %), Liliaceae 42 (3.63 %) and Apiaceae 41 (3.54 %).
