Abstract
The present study was carried out on macrofungi grown in Siirt (Central) province Macrofungi specimens were colleted between the years of 2008 and 2009. During field study, the colorous photographs of some specimens were taken in natural habitat and the photographs of the others were taken in laboratory on the carton with digital camera. The ecological and morphological features of specimens were recorded.According to field and laboratory investigations, the total of 47 taxa belonging to 13 families, stated in Pezizomyceetes andAgaricomycetes classis were identifed. 24 of them are edible, 17 of them are inedible and 4 of them are poisonous and edibility features of 2 taxa are unknown. In addition, 1 species are determined as new records for Turkish macrofungi. The new record is; Agaricus lutosus (F.H. Møller) F.H. Møller (Agaricaceae). The identified specimens have been stored and maintained in Mycology Laboratory, Biology Department, Faculty of Science and Art, University of Yüzüncü Yıl.
