Abstract
Bu çalışmada Flinabe (35:27:38) blanketli APEX hibrit reaktörünün MCNP-X bilgisayar programında modellemesi (simülasyonu) yapıldı. Program yardımıyla APEX hibrit reaktöründe UF ve ThF katkılı (% 0 -% 12) blanketler kullanılarak reaktör boyunca nötron akısı hesaplamaları yapıldı. Hesaplamalar sonucu nötron akısında ciddi bir artışın olmadığı gözlendi. Ayrıca nükleer reaksiyonlar sonucu nötronların blankette ve reaktör boyunca oluşturduğu radyoizotoplar ile yarı ömürleri nükleer tablolar yardımıyla tespit edildi.Sonuç olarak hibrit balanket tasarımında, reaktör yapı bileşenlerinin kullanılabilir ömürlerinin olumsuz yönde etkilenmediği belirlendi.Anahtar Kelimeler: APEX, MCNP-X, Flinabe, Hibrit Blanket, Nötron Akısı
In this study APEX Hybrid reactor with Flinabe (35:27:38) blanket was simulated by computer program of MCNP-X. By means of the program, neutron flux calculations were made throughout the reactor via using UF and ThF - doped (% 0-% 12) blankets in APEX hybrid reactor. No considerable increase in neutron flux was detected as a result of calculations. Besides, radioisotopes which were formed by neutrons ?produced in nuclear reactions- in balanket and throughout the reactor and half-life of these radioisotopes were determined by means of nuclear tables.In conclusion, it was determined that available life-times of structure components of reactor were not negatively affected in hybrid blanket design.Key words: APEX, MCNP-X, Flinabe, Hybrid Blanket, Neutron Flux
