Depictions of God Standing on Animals and Mixed Creatures in Urartu

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, bugüne değin ortaya çıkarılmış Urartu tasvirli sanat eserleri üzerinde görülen Hayvanlar ve Karışık Yaratıklar Üzerindeki Tanrı Tasvirleri değerlendirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışmamızda yer alan tanrı tasvirleri, bu tasvirli eserlerin üzerindeki tanrının ikonografyası ve yapıldığı malzemenin cinsi hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Urartu tasvirli sanat eserleri üzerindeki tanrı tasvirleri detaylandırılarak ayrıntıya inilmiştir. Urartu Tanrı tasvirlerinde Tanrı Haldi, Tanrı Teişeba ve Tanrı Şivini en sık işlenen tanrılardandır. Tanrılar genellikle aslan ve boğa, üzerinde gösterilmiştir. Hangi tanrıyı temsil ettiğini kesin olarak bilmediğimiz bir grup tanrı karışık yaratıklar üzerinde tasvir edilmiştir. İşlenen tanrılar genellikle ya savaş pozisyonunda ya da selamlama jest pozisyonunda gösterilmiş. Tanrıların başlarında farklı şekillerde mertebeye göre polos başlıklarda çıkınılar gösterilmiş olup ellerinde çeşitli nesneler tutarken tasvir edilmiştir. Yaptığımız bu çalışmada genel itibarıyla Urartu kemerleri, kalkanları, adak levhaları, mühürler ve mimari yapılar üzerinde işlenmiş hayvan veya karışık yaratıklar üzerinde duran tanrı tasvirleri işlenmiştir. Yaptığımız çalışmada Urartu sanatının farklı eserler üzerindeki tanrı tasvirlerinin işlenişi, analizi, ikonografyası uygun olarak ele alınıp değerlendirmeler yapılmıştır. Bu değerlendirmeler sonucunda Urartuların sanatsal faaliyetler içerisinde kayda değer gelişmeler görülmektedir.

In this study, it is tried to evaluate the Depictions of God on Animals and Mixed Creatures seen on works of art depicted in Urartu that have been unearthed to date. Information is given about the depictions of gods in our study and the iconography of God on these depicted works and the type of material in which they were made. The depictions of God on works of art depicted in Urartu are elaborated and detailed. In the depictions of God, Urartu is one of the most frequently committed gods of God Haldi, God Teisheba and God's Shivin. The gods are often shown on lions and bulls. A group of gods we don't know for sure which god they represent are depicted on mixed creatures. The processed gods are usually shown either in the position of war or in the position of salutation gesture. At the beginning of the gods, polos were shown in different ways and depicted holding various objects in their hands. In this study, we generally cover depictions of gods standing on urartu arches, shields, island plates, seals and animals or mixed creatures carved on architectural structures. In our study, the processing, analysis and iconography of god depictions of Urartu art on different works were evaluated and evaluated in accordance with the works. As a result of these evaluations, significant improvements are observed in the artistic activities of urartu.
