A Thematic Review on the Stories and Novels of Hüseyin Akyüz

Abstract

Hüseyin Akyüz, Türk edebiyatının önemli hikâye ve roman yazarlarından biridir. Toplumcu yazarlar arasında daha çok İşçi edebiyatı alanında eserleri bulunmaktadır. Yazarın içinde bulunduğu topluma karşı duyduğu sorumluluk ve kendisinin de işçi kökenli oluşu onda böyle bir duyarlılık meydana getirmiştir. Böylece yazdıklarında daha çok işçilere, onların sömürülen emeklerine, yaşadıkları zorluklara değinmeye çalışmıştır. Onun bireysel temalara eğildiği eserleri de mevcuttur fakat toplumsal meselelere daha sık yer vermiştir. Dolayısıyla tüm bunların ışığında söz konusu bu çalışmada yazarın hikâye ve romanları tematik açıdan ele alınıp incelenmiştir. Among the social writers, he has mostly works in the field of labor literature. The author's responsibility towards the society he was in and his working-class origin created such a sensitivity in him. Thus, in his writings, he tried to address the workers, their exploited labors, the difficulties they experienced. There are also works in which he focuses on individual themes, but he has more often included social issues. Therefore, in the light of all this, the stories and novels of the author are discussed and examined from a thematic point of view.
