Ancient History and the Rising Tourism Trend of the 21st Century: Faith Tourism

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı Hakkari ili inanç turizmi potansiyelinin değerlendirilmesidir. Bu kapsamda Seyyid Taha Nehri Türbesi'ne 2020 Nisan ve Haziran ayları arasında ziyarete gelmiş toplam 205 kişi ile anket yapılmıştır. Alınan yanıtlar SPSS istatistik programında analize tabi tutulmuştur. Analiz yapılırken frekans, yüzde dağılımı, geçerli yüzde dağılımı ve kümülatif toplam gibi istatistiklerden yararlanılmıştır.İnanç turizmi faaliyetleriyle ilgili olarak, yöredeki yatırımlarda bir artış söz konusu olup olmadığı, yöredeki inanç turizminin gelişimi ile buna bağlı olarak yörenin tarım, sanayi hizmet sektörlerinin de gelişip gelişmediği, inanç turizminden sağlanan kaynakların yöre halkının gelir kaynağına katkıda bulunup bulunmadığı yönlerinden bağımlılık katsayısı testine tabi tutulmuştur.Araştırma bulgularına bakıldığında Hakkâri ilinin inanç turizmi yönünden zengin potansiyelinin ve yeterli organizasyonunun bulunduğu, Hakkâri ilinin turistlere olan hoşgörüsü, ilin yalnızca ekonomik güç olarak görülmesi, il dışında başka merkezlerinde ziyaret edilmesi, Hakkâri ilinde sadece dinsel değil, doğal ve kültürel değerleri ile de ziyaret edilmesi, tarım sanayi ve hizmet sektörünü geliştirmesi ve ziyaretçileri karşılama kapasitesinin yeterliliği arasında bağımlı sayılabilecek ilişki içinde olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Buna karşın inanç turizmi kapsamında yapılan yatırımlarla, Hakkâri ilinin sadece dinsel değil, doğal ve kültürel değerleri ile de ziyaret edilmesi arasında herhangi bir ilişki tespit edilememiştir.

The aim of this research is to evaluate the faith tourism potential of Hakkari province. In this context, a survey was conducted with a total of 205 people who visited the Seyyid Taha River Tomb between April and June 2020. The responses received were analyzed in the SPSS statistical program. While performing the analysis, statistics such as frequency, percentage distribution, valid percentage distribution and cumulative total were used. In terms of faith tourism activities, whether there is an increase in investments in the region, whether there is an increase in the development of faith tourism in the region and whether the agriculture and industry service sectors of the region have developed accordingly, whether the resources obtained from faith tourism contribute to the income source of the local people have been subjected to the dependency coefficient test. . Considering the research findings, Hakkari province has a rich potential and sufficient organization in terms of faith tourism, the tolerance of the province to tourists, the province being seen only as an economic power, visiting other centers outside the province, visiting the province of Hakkari not only with its religious but also with its natural and cultural values, It has been determined that there is a relationship that can be considered as dependent between the development of the agricultural industry and service sector and the adequacy of the capacity to meet the visitors. On the other hand, no relationship could be found between the investments made within the scope of faith tourism and visiting Hakkari not only with its religious but also with itsnatural and cultural values.
